I’m really curious about what specs your computer needs to run at 1080p 60FPS or even 1440P/4k. I suppose you’ll not need a high-end computer to run at 1080p 60FPS since the Xbox One can handle it perfectly.
Hehe, you’re right. I’m more into cars than I am into computers.
For 4k, those specs aren’t really unexpected. In fact those are the exact specs of my friend’s computer, except he has 2x 980Ti so he’ll be fine.
I’m wondering what the lowest settings you can run is (900p, 720p or even 576p?) and what computer specs you need for these…
I asked the guy that leaked the screenshots and video what he was running and he said he could play in ultra on a GTX 950. Of course it will also scale down to the intel HD gpu’s but I want to know if my Phenom II X4 965 quad @3.4ghz can handle it. I can play Ashes of the Singularity, a very CPU intense game in DX11, so playing this in DX12 should give me more room. I can’t get the DX12 exe to work for ashes sadly, but I have an R9 270X Hawk which has a stock overclock of 1150mhz so I know I should be able to play on ultra as well granted my CPU is up to the task.
If you want to see the latest leaks about the specs the guy had and the car list look at my post here.
The difference is xbox one uses Direct X 11 and the PC version was Built on Direct X 12 (you can still run it on Direct X 11) Direct X 12 requires a stronger card to run it at 1080P 60 FPS.
Could not be more wrong. Xbone uses a low level api that is not available on PC’s. The whole point of DX12 is to bring low level api to PC = potentially more performance using the same hardware.
You are partially right but the Xbox one or a DirectX 11 PC can’t utilize DirectX12 completely, you still Need a DirectX12 card to utilize it fully which the Xbox one (still uses DirectX 11 hardware) doesn’t have Microsoft even mentioned it.
In other words if you want to fully benefit from DirectX12 you are going to need DirectX 12 hardware
Emulation VS actual hardware makes a difference in modern performance and GPU’s
I’ll leave this here for those who really want to know how to take full advantage of DirectX12
These requirements are pretty vague. What aBout AMD CPUs? Also they should include 2k resolution and include requirements for low/medium/high/ultra for all resolutions 1080p and up.
