Community Opinion? Storefront/AH

I was speaking with a friend last night about the community aspect of this game. We were laughing about how, when Forza 3 released, we all disliked the storefront idea, and we spent a good while complaining about it. It is a sorely missed function now, and the sharefront seems like it has its place, and it does fill an important roll for beginners looking for quick suggestions, but we, as a community, tend to know each other, and follow each other’s work.

I remember scrolling through the storefront, seeing everybody’s offerings, and buying cars because I saw something I liked. I could see what my friends and other community members were up to, and we could accurately describe and display our content. It turns out, the storefront was actually a very nice option to have around.

Here we are now, with the return of the Auction House to Forza Motorsport. So many memories flood in from the days of Forza 2.

Here is my question to the community: Would it be a widely favorable idea to have all three options to sell content? (Storefront, Auction House and Sharefront)

What is preventing this from happening? Would it destroy the economy, or would it reward the community talents?

Storefront is gone, and that makes me sad.

That is all.

I think I only used the AH back in the day to bid on unicorn cars and then reselling them for a huge profit lol.

You forgot to mention the black market trader guy (from COD/Destiny) is now in Forza and I guess these cars are unicorn to some degree? I bought all 3 so far and they have a nice limited batch number on them so that’s cool.

I like that they have added the specialty dealer. It’s a neat little side thing to collect cars.

What I really miss is the interaction in the community, though, and it had nothing to do with rare cars, but rare paints and tunes. I met a lot of people here by requesting a paint or tune, which they had to post for sale in the auction house. I met a few people in Forza 3 as well, using the storefront. I just really miss the interaction here, and it all boiled down to trading content in game, using the storefront or auction house.
