How am i able to retrieve lost cloud data save for forza H2? i dont really want to start the game over and have been told its possible to have it retrieved/ recovered for me.
Have you tried deleting your local save data and allowing it to resync with the cloud?
yes i have and that didnt work now i have no local save
What does your game do now when you try to start it?
starts a new game, asked me to sync data but have 2 to choose from both todays date but my older save is from couple days back, i have been told its possible to have an older cloud save retrieved, just not sure on how to do it.
You always pick the older save,start your game pick the older save and let it sync,this could take hours,DO NOT CANCEL THE SYNC,it might look like it is frozen or stopped,just let it go until it syncs,it might even say 100 % but keep on until it syncs.
both those saves synced and started the game as new? how do i choose and even older synced save?

Good luck buddy,hope they help you out! I’m thinking you might have picked the newer save when you were asked and that is what messed everything up.
yeah, by the looks of it there were 2 new saves and the old save wasnt there, im just hoping i can have it retrieved, if not guess il just have to start over again which is a pain -_-
I live in fear of this everyday my friend!
yeah i know same ! it is annoying how they say cloud backup so you dont lose any of your important data but then if something as simple as this happens it automatically backs up over the original save seems abit silly, we should be able to select where and what to override or new save, or even have access to the cloud servers to see what saves we have.
They say it is MS servers,they are getting new ones for FM6,if you are getting it.
im just hoping they can recover the save like restore it to a saved point, im not to sure aye wasnt a huge fan of FM5 but i will most likely get FM6
