Seems to be a recurring problem with the Forza servers , but I’ve logged on this morning and my save has been deleted , and he cloud save is starting a fresh game.
I have contacted MS Support and they have told me that the cloud saves are overwritten every time you load the game , so its not possible to load a save from mid-january for example. They claim not to be able to do anything , which is outrageous.
This is ridiculous as I have logged around 50+ Hours playing this game nearly every day since June when I bought the game , had over 6,000,000 in the bank and was level 180. Is there anyway someone from the turn 10 team can look into this , or offer some kind of compensation ? Would be happy to speak to someone about this ASAP !!! Really don’t fancy starting again from scratch , with the possibility of loosing my data again sometime in the near future !
Maybe the last time you play you quit the game and search or look something in the dashboard and than you turn your console off. After quitting the game the console start to upload the file and when the console do this it overwrites the old save. When you turn your console off while your savegame was uploaded, than you have lost both (the former save on the cloud and the actual save).
I found out that forza horizon 2 uploads the savefile every 10min while you play - yes, during the gameplay. When you quit the game whil this was happening, your old savefile in the cloud is overwritten with a broken savefile - so your saves in the cloud are not usable.
This is one thing, but the other is: Why the game ask you to do a sync? Do you delete your savefile on the console or set the console back to factory settings or something like this?
