I’ve done everything, accommodating every crazy ideas of the other drivers, stayed calm when get taken out, letting pass every single car that I felt was a treat, yet I still can get DQ, 90° rejoins, unavoidable, penalty system says it’s avoidable, someone trying to take me out takes himself out, I get the penalty, how can I get DQ when literally NOBODY ELSE on track had any courtesy? How can I get back to S if every time this kind stupid thing happen? I’m glad the game gets better, but that penalty system is a joke, it’s not even trying to get things right.
I was going for a sesh, and now juste 1 game, and I’m just disgusted and off.
The less you pay attention to the safety rating the better. Just race hard and fair and live with the results.
Don’t check your Safety Rating, it is not fit for purpose at the moment. It judges a 3 laps E class race at Hakone the same as a 1 hour Spa race in Le Mans Prototypes. At least in my experience.
I’ve had better battles being B4993 than S4999 so make of that what you wish
Do you have a video of this incident?afaik it’s basically impossible to get a DQ from one penalty. I think you need 12 seconds total which is…. Significant. You would need to cut the chicane at daytona or something. I cant imagine someone getting 12 in a race and not deserving at least half as much.
Tbh safety rating and skill rating in this game do absolutely nothing. I once went nuts cuz some random guy rammed me of P1, then for next 5 min I was ramming him on every corner just because I was feed up with all this ramming, and in the end got DQ, after race my safety rating dropped from A to D, and in next races I saw the same people I always see, matchmaking is just not working. And rammers are in every lobby.
Well I’m in S most of my time tho, it’s just that’s S class open multiplayer is ram fest, and my rating dropped to A, xd and then I lost it and went on ramming spree for one race, (no one innocent got rammed, only other rammers)
Tho even when I had S rating, there were rammers everywhere (mostly all these 911 gt1 abusers)
There’s also issue with safety rating itself, it’s just too easy to get S rank, even if matchmaking were working properly, u can easily get S safety, get into “safe” lobby, ram everyone untill u get DQ, get down to d or c, do maybe 5-10 races (u can just turn on auto drive), get S back and then go back to ramming.
Ale penalties on contact are stricter if your car have less grip, becouse ai driver is not able to take this specific corner with this speed, so system thinks u are the one causing this incident.
That’s also the reason why grip meta abusers don’t get penalties when they ram u mid corner, cuz they were going slower than ai can on this corner (because car ahead was slower).
The same about ridiculous pixel cuts, or even when u go wide on straight. Game seems to compare your time going through section where u went off track limit, to ai time on this sector, and since ai sucks at driving and is slow overall, u get these 1.5s penalties for going pixel wide on chicanes and similar hard and narrow corners.
In practice at Eagle Rock, two cars I was following closely got together causing one car to barrel roll. As the crash unfolded, I lifted and began braking slightly to avoid adding to the carnage. I was hit from behind and completely lost control, sliding sideways. I then clipped the formerly barrel rolling car which pushed me into the inside wall. I paused, hit skip lap, drove for about 3 seconds before receiving two penalties. One for avoidable contact, one for track cutting. Netted like 16 seconds of penalty right there and was immediately booted.
Unfortunately, I was in such shock I forgot to record it.
I second that, the open class sees a much bigger discrepancy in car performance and therefore many contacts (intentional/unintentional). So in a weird way, I only play race cars in this Forza…
In b/a class u can expect some clean racing, but in S. . . Man idk if theres so many kids that want to drive supercars or what, but that’s the lobby I’m rammed the most, and I don’t play anything above S since it’s all race car and F1 meta, so it’s no more open but meta lobby.
How do you get disqualified without trying to? I’ve been DQ’d once over the 700+ hours of MP races and it was because I went straight through the chicane on Daytona on purpose. You must be doing something wrong…
