Cleanest racer on track gets DQ

That’s a fun cut to get DQ’d for lol

When i was just trying to get the daytona endurance race over with after lapping cars my last four laps i just blew through it hahaha. I still finished 4mins ahead before penalties so i could have done it for the last ten easily lol.

I’ve only been DQed once and it was after their first big FRR patch that made penalties significantly harsher haha.

See my original post. I was booted for both contact and cutting in practice.

LOL I love that…yeah they go for EVERY move. Moves that are impossible by the laws of physics since two objects can`t exist in the same space at the same time.

Forza players: “I ovetake, I am the hero in this story! I was in Halo…”

“there’s car in front of me taking racing line in car with lower grip, meh I will just push him off the line”

Dropped from S to B in one bad race.
14 races with a couple less-than-1-second penalties and back to S in clean lobbies.

First race back at S, ramfest lolol.

It’s a social experiment this safety rating thing. Even though it isn’t sorted out, we pay attention to it hoping it will bring great fierce respectful battles with similarly skilled players.

Hope is the drug.

U know, that the cleanest racing I had was when I dropped to D safety since everyone was overly cautious. When I went back to a/s, it was all the same ramfest.

Also getting S4999 is just too easy (if u have some skills) I once for testing dropped way down to S4000 by using auto drive, and week later just by driving random non meta cars in open multiplayer and spotlight races I was back to 4999.

Same for safety rating, it took me more or less 2 days to go back from D to S, S safety takes but longer, since I got A safety in like 2h or so xd.

I tried to stay the whole game while DQ to download the replay, then I just got too angry. I had a 4.5 pen for an incident I had no part of, another for a rejoining incident that was totally unavoidable, I can’t remember all the details, I had the time to cool down and I believe I just got unlucky, but that’s just a lot at once

Initially, I found that online races were mostly a wreck fest for the first couple of months. I tried racing every few weeks but couldn’t stand the chaos. Despite this, I maintained a safety rating of “S” most of the time. There was only one incident where I had an unavoidable “Avoidable Contact,” which demoted me to a safety rating of “A” for about 10 races. Those were 10 hour-long endurance races at Le Mans for me, and my skill level was around 4950 at that time.

After that incident, I completely changed my approach. Now, I usually start from the last position or wait on the sidelines for everyone to pass me. I drive as if I have to pay for any car damage out of my own pocket. I only overtake when it’s absolutely safe, and I make room for faster cars by driving far from the racing line, even if they are only slightly faster. As a result, nearly all my races are now contact-free. On average, I receive a 0.1s penalty for going off track every fifth race, mostly due to tire wear or skill issues. My skill level has stabilized at 4800. With this approach, I’ve won 2 races with more than 12 drivers, but I usually finish in the middle of the field.

This is not competitive racing! But I enjoy clean racing much more than winning.

There’s always a car in front of me that I can chase down and pressure. Interestingly, most of the time, the driver in front of me allows me to overtake due to a small mistake. This is a direct result of my cautious overtake policy.

This is it, that’s what i want to do on forza, racing, not competitive racing.

Most of peoples drive not for race, but for win, they drive like if they’re alone, keeping they’re fastest line and speed and don’t care if they’re someone else in front or in their side, or because they’re too greedy, they react too late for try to avoid.

That’s why i just would like a trackday lobby, allow me to just cruise on the track, do my thing, and if i meet someone who drive on my class, why not start a race for see how it goes.

That’s the type of race i like, chasing someone, or try to escape him, instead of competitive racing where sometimes it’s the ramfest, and where the top leader are most of the times full of peoples on meta cars/tunes

Honestly, join a league. It’s the best way to find proper, respectful competition.

I’ve met more rammers being S than being C.

yeah I get it, that’s almost where I’m at, but I’ll end up top 3 max, never win another game unless by luck and so on… I don’t believe “fixing” something wrong with the game implies for the player to take every single measure he can to have a good race, I could let everyone take a half lap on me, and have a chill race, but that’s not what a race is about, those good games should be provided by the game maker with a system that actually give penalties to the right person instead of bullying the ones who really try to do good by their peers on the game.
