this week’s trial shows even MORE incompetency on the dev’s part. not only is the AI doing it’s usual ramming players thing, but now the lead car is obviously tuned beyond it’s capability and more akin to X (999) class. i was using one of my tried and true S1 900 tunes (it has countless wins accumulated) and was in front of the pack with the exception of the lead car the whole time. i know for a FACT that the RTR Mustang is NOT capable of that kind of performance, yet it takes off and handles like it was using Cheat Engine. after the first turn it pulled away and was impossible to catch. by the end of the race it was at least half a mile away from me. unacceptable!
I went through 4 attempts today before finally winning. The first 3 attempts the car in 1st position was one of the RTR drift mustangs with maxed out front camber yet could fly around the turns like it was on rails and beat everyone else by about 4-7s.
I just wish everyone else playing would wake up and realize that no-one cares who comes in 1st place in these races… the whole point is to beat the AI. So get it front of the AI and slow them down for everyone else! Even with the AI in 1st place on the 4th try, I blocked the rest of the AI and allowed the other 5 players to get in front and we finally won.
