Cars - Dodge Viper ACR 2016 - Multiple audio issues including weak cockpit sound (1972014)

  1. The sound on this car seems compressed and low quality. It’s suppressed, quiet and lacks depth, character, dynamic range, etc.
  2. While the chase cam sound is passable, the cockpit sound especially as well as bonnet and bumper sounds are very weak and distant. You can’t even tell when to shift. So we need more detail, depth, punch, and character in these views, along with a general improvement to this car’s overall sample.
  3. After adding full turbos (single turbo conversion), there’s no difference to the car’s sound character. You can’t hear the whoosh of the turbo spooling up or the blow off valve on off-throttle.
  4. I can’t provide any videos as “evidence” or “proof”, sorry; the car’s sound is not impressive. While it is accurate, it is just not good quality and seems to have that same compressed, low quality, and oscillating/droney or loopy sounding characteristic shared by most cars in the game (more evident at higher revs when the tacho is slowly climbing in the top gears).
  5. Please pass this along to Mike and Nick as they have a really good ear for these things. They’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. :+1:

I can’t drive this car at all as it lacks depth, soul, and character in all the first person views. All you mostly hear are the ambient sounds apart from the engine and exhaust.

Go to chase cam and again it sounds soulless, like there’s so much depth and range missing. No detail to it and sounds loopy and oscillating at higher revs. Puts me to sleep.

Really want this car to sound right. Look forward to the updated sound (please don’t make it worse or regress it, T10!).
