This is EU style

There’s a whole Wikipedia Article about it

San Marino and Monaco have plates far smaller than the average EU plates.

Sooo… what’s the problem? You can remove the plate and paint your own. Look up the tracing technique to get it perfect.

They aren’t EU states of course but the cars there will have licence plate placeholders to accommodate the typical EU sized plate even though the licence plates of these territories is quite small.

A large triangular plate is typical of an EU state. Manufacturers accommodate that kind of general size for cars sold in the EU.

Whether plate size is mandated or precise in its dimensions, I don’t really care nor have I investigated the matter.

What I would like from Forza is that a licence plate placeholder of a plausible kind is available for painting - front & back. It usual isn’t for the front. And that’s been frustrating.

I don’t see a rabbit hole. Developers render & present the car to us as they’ve examined it. And that’s your placeholder size you work with if you want to paint a plate.

The developers will have a physical car before them to take images of and render and whatever licence plate placeholder is on that car at whatever given moment is what is realistic and something I’m personally happy to work around.

I just want the entire car to be paintable. I can do the rest.
