Playground should’ve changed the color from yellow to white for European plates. Come on, we are not in the UK anymore.
What do you mean by white for European plates? Not all plates in Europe are white, a lot are.
I think he means he wants to see actual Mexican license plates similar to how Horizon 3 and Horizon 4 had Australian and British license plates respectively. And I don’t blame him if that’s the case. The license plates were one of those smaller, but greater details that Playground really skimped out on this time around, not that I’m shocked that Playground would be lazy.

Had not noticed that it was an older post, but yeah Mexican license plates, that seem to come in several color combinations, but with white as a base (just looking at a bunch of pics through the search engine), would have made sense.
In my country you’ll see yellow (main color), blue, white, green, which are all current but for specific purposes, and on old cars the occasional black one.
MX plates are similar to US plates, smaller Rectangle, with state on plate, also on sticker in rear window assume for anti theft. Look nothing like plates from EU/GB
Considering that most of the cars added by car pass and others are not even from North America, but from Europe, there is no doubt that they considered Mexico to be a part of Europe.
< irony > In other words, there is nothing wrong with Europlates. < /irony >
In all seriousness, perhaps this would have been difficult to change because of the implications for the modeling of the car.
Some cars are modeled based on a Euro-spec appearance, and those cars either do not have room for a North American-sized license plate, or they can fit one, but the size of the base and the license plate will not match, resulting in an awkward style.
Even if FH6 were set in Japan or some other non-Euro plate region, I doubt they would change this rule.
