Cars and DLC list - FH1

I sent an email to them about a free DLC including many cars from Forza 4 and cars I think would be cool in Forza Horizon I can send a list to any who want it.

So there’s really no New Beetle to drive in Horizon? Is there any Forza in which I could drive one?

No you can’t legally; although, if you want to get yourself in trouble, you can drive it. But at that moment, it’s because you hacked. I explain: to be able to drive the New Beetle in Horizon, you need to hack.

For the Forza Games where you can drive the New Beetle, there is this:
Forza 4 Forza 3
Forza 2 Forza 1

Pretty much all the Forza games except Forza Horizon and Forza Horizon 2 (for the moment) and Forza Motorsport 5.

Duplicate post, sorry!

How many cars are there in forza horizon including all dlc cars, cars found in barn find and cars in base game? Not including unicorns as I seem to not have any.

From the first post in the thread, start with 218 and subtract the cars you don’t want to count:

Well that means there are 204 cars in all. Damn that’s a lot of cars.

Is the 1000 Club DLC still available? I haven’t turn on my X360 for almost a year and a half until a month ago and started playing game again. I try to search for Horizon’s DLC but nothing show up on the marketplace as ā€œextrasā€ is not available when press the X button for more details about FZ Horizon.

1000 Club Expansion

Hello,
I need your help because I’m looking for this car ā€œPizza Hut 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302ā€ in Forza Horizon. If someone has a dlc code for this car, he can contact me via private message to see what he wants in return. I would really like to have this car.
Thank you a lot.

You have been told to stop begging for codes - it would be a really good idea to take heed of that advice and stop before you find yourself banned from these forums.

I’m really sorry but I would really like to have this car ā€œPizza Hut 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302ā€ (This is the only car that I miss in this game) and so I think this is the best place for my application, I am French I make the effort to speak English, some do not. I remain very polite and courteous and I just requires a little help. I do nothing wrong … ? : /
Especially since I do not beg because I propose to buy or exchange this code.
I hope I’m not out of the forum law and that it does not disturb you, I really thank you for your understanding.

I notice forza horizon is free to download on xbox live,at first i thought i had this game on 360 but looked it out and was other forza games.
But before this i had been trying to purchase the season pass for it which deal ends soon.
But glad i never as not got game.

Anyway i was buying other dlc on xbix live and these where fine all used paypal but when trying to buy dlc for horizon on xboc 360 it takes you elsewhere.
And the first page being billing info which is usa and does not change?
Why is this?
Im worried that i do something and lose my current gold or stuff already purchased.
I now go to try and download hotizon 360 for free which is on xnox live and get the same problems like tve dlc with billing.
Address cant be changed that comes up,yet when i look into it deeper my address etc is ok.
On the xbox dlc and free download for horizon the thing it asks first is no payiment option in my account but then how did i buy other stuff and i have two paypal account set up.
This is driving me nuts.
I used to own 360 if thsts makes any difference but now own xbox one with xbox live.

Forza Horizon DLC End of Life

At some point between 1400-1930 PDT on Monday, October 24, 2016, Forza Horizon was officially delisted from the Xbox Live store.

The only item that is currently listed, is the Forza Horizon SmartGlass Experience module (which, for compatible devices, will presumably continue to work with the Xbox 360 SmartGlass app) (can anyone out there verify this?). For those interested in at least knowing what used to be shown there, here is a link to the last version of its Xbox Marketplace page as reflected at the Internet Archive (the ā€œWayback Machineā€):

Previous version of the Xbox Marketplace page for Forza Horizon, showing videos and DLC prior to Oct 24, 2016

As a late comer to the first Forza Horizon: Last week, I managed to acquire all DLC EXCEPT the following:

  • Limited Collector’s Edition (5 cars available elsewhere in game, but each with custom liveries)
  • Unicorns (7 cars, no longer available)
  • Ford Shelby GT500 w/Rockstar Energy livery (now-expired promotion)
  • Ford Mustang Boss 302 w/Pizza Hut livery (now-expired promotion)

In my limited testing: If prior to the delisting, one already had the appropriate DLC (cars, expansion packs, liveries, etc.) purchased/attached to their Xbox Live account, the following summarizes the state of things for the game as of October 2016:

WORKING

  • 1000 Club (if previously obtained, prior to the delisting)
  • Rally Expansion (if previously obtained, prior to the delisting)
  • Design Storefront
  • Rivals
  • Multiplayer (including matchmaking, leveling, prizes/rewards)

NOT WORKING

  • The in-game Marketplace at the Festival, which remains offline (as it has been for some weeks/months, so far as I can gather from the hundreds of forum posts both here, and across the Web, complaining about this important loss of functionality). To that end…

  • Token purchase, would seem to have effectively ended. Tokens were never available via the Xbox Live Marketplace’s Web site; instead, they were available for purchase ONLY from within the in-game Marketplace, or via the Map or Rally main screens when attempting to unlock the Treasure Map, Fast Travel Anywhere, or the Rally All-Access Pass (with the unlock process really just functioning as a digital ā€œhookā€ into the same (now-offline) Marketplace, via the Xbox 360 Dashboard).

Tokens were the only way to access the aforementioned unlocks, whether on an Xbox 360 or on an Xbox One, via Backward Compatibility. Note that tokens were NEVER available to successfully purchase and redeem via the Xbox One, via Backward Compatibility—one could purchase them through the Dashboard, but they would not actually show up within the Xbox One’s saved game.

For Backward Compatibility, the workaround WAS for one to have used an Xbox 360 to load up one’s saved game, purchase the requisite tokens, unlock these features, and then begin/resume playing on Xbox One (as the unlocks would then carry over with the transferred saved game). However, since all Marketplace functionality has been lost with the delisting, tokens can no longer be purchased within game (regardless of platform; verified on both an Xbox 360, as well as on an Xbox One, via Backward Compatibility).

Accordingly, there is likely no (easy/cheap) way to unlock the Treasure Map, Fast Travel Anywhere, or the All-Access Pass for the Rally. However, read on as…

UNABLE TO VERIFY AT THIS TIME

  • Car Clubs (I don’t know any other FH1 gamers, and so feel free to send me a Private Message if you have a working Car Club and I’ll update this posting accordingly)

  • Whether or not unused DLC codes from the Limited Collector’s Edition (LCE), or for any other DLC from the game really, would still be redeemable via the Xbox Live Marketplace’s Redeem a Code page. I’ve seen an occasional code on eBay since the delisting occurred, for DLC and even for digital copies of the main game itself; but I have not purchased anything there to test with (beyond what I obtained prior to the delisting).

The ā€œVIP Credentialsā€ card inside the LCE, contained (3) DLC codes for the following:

  • The (5) Day One cars (from the October 2012 Car Pack), as well as the (5) Limited Collector’s Editions liveries
  • VIP Membership
  • The ā€œHorizon Accellerator Packā€, which provides (3) tokens

An example of the ā€œVIP Credentialsā€ card

As far as I can tell: Apart from any DLC codes one might be able to obtain from eBay or other, 3rd-party sources, the only way that MAY still be possible to obtain VIP Membership; the October 2012 Car Pack; tokens that can be used to unlock the aforementioned Treasure Map, Fast Travel Anywhere, and/or Rally All-Access Pass; and/or the LCE liveries, would require a convoluted workaround that is likely to be quite expensive for all but the most die-hard Horizon fans. While I’m happy to suggest a process that SHOULD work, there is no guarantee of success—it really comes down to whether or not the DLC codes are still redeemable, and would be accepted by your saved game once those codes have been redeemed (so if anyone out there is crazy enough to try these steps, send me a Private Message with your findings and I’ll update these instructions).

One last thing: IF (and I do mean IF) this method is going to work at all, it will require you to obtain one or more of the physical ā€œVIP Credentialsā€ cards from a Limited Collector’s Edition (with unusued DLC codes, of course); and (likely) to have access to an Xbox 360. You would then (presumably) do the following:

  1. Via the Redeem a Code page, redeem the codes for the ā€œDay One DLC and LCE Liveriesā€, ā€œVIP Membershipā€, and the ā€œHorizon Accellerator Packā€. Note that you would need at least TWO Accellerator Pack codes in order to unlock either the Treasure Map (5 tokens), or Fast Travel Anywhere (also 5 tokens); and you would need FIVE Accellerator Pack codes in order to get the full 13 tokens needed to unlock both of those features, as well as the Rally All-Access Pass (which requires 3 additional tokens of its own).

  2. On an Xbox 360, make sure one’s saved game is stored in Cloud Saved Games; then, login to that saved game (or simply play it on Xbox 360 for the first time), in either case proceeding far enough in the game to be able to reach the Festival. Then, use your tokens to unlock the Treasure Map, Fast Travel Anywhere, and/or the Rally All-Access Pass.

  3. Save your game to Cloud Saved Games, exit out of the game completely on the Xbox 360, then verify via Settings → Storage that your Cloud Saved Game files have synchronized with the Xbox Live servers.

Regardless of your scenario or platform, the information in the steps above SHOULD allow you to make use of the extra content and feature unlocks. Again, I CANNOT confirm or guarantee this—caveat emptor!

If anyone has additional information to add now that The Endā„¢ has come, feel free to reply and I’ll update this post. But for the time being (and for those that had successfully gotten their desired DLC in hand PRIOR to the cutoff on 24 Oct 2016), the game continues to play very well and there’s no reason to think that will change anytime soon.

Good luck, folks. And happy driving!

Best wishes,
NorCalNavyMike

Dear Turn 10 studio,

I’m in situation like below:

I have bought base game, then get 1000 club for free and loyalty pack and finally bought rally pack (not season pass) without getting any additional car pack free or payed before game was delisted from xbox marketplace.

Here is my question, can I still get all achievements in 1000 club DLC after Forza Horizon is already delisted from xbox marketplace ???

If not is it possible to bring back car packs required for 1000 club achievements so we can get 100% completion ?

Please help !

Best Regards,
Henry

Does this game no longer track Days Played in Forza Rewards?

-Thanks

I feel that the DLC for Horizon needs to be brought back at least for a little while since the games servers were down for several days leading up to the end. And I have a question about that, why end DLC? It’s not like there is a ton of support that it needs, it has been created already, you are actually just keeping yourselves from making a few extra bucks. Plus there really isn’t a whole lot of people downloading it so there isn’t a need for intensive C.S. from you guys either. Why not continue to support your loyal consumers? I have played literally every Forza game ever made (except Apex, my laptop is not capable, but soooon…) but I feel like the last couple of years has seen a shift at T10 away from the long term racer loyalists and towards the flash in the pan, play for two months until something shinier comes out folks. I totally understand that you have to balance both of those segments but it seems like more and more is being taken from the old timers for no real substantive reason. Just my two cents…

I decided to install Forza Horizon earlier this month to my Xbox One, as I wanted to play thru it again on my Xbox Live account (I previously played it offline, but had downloaded all the DLC except the Treasure Map and Rally Pass with my Xbox Live account).

From what I can gather, I can play the base game without DLC on my Xbox One or play the game with DLC I already own on my 360. I can’t buy the DLC I don’t already own, nor can any DLC be downloaded to my Xbox One.

This is crap. Turn 10 and Playground Games should fix this. There is absolutely no reason to not support the DLC for existing customers who paid for it. I don’t know all of my avenues but unless this is rectified I will be seeking full reimbursement for all DLC which I have paid for by filing a complaint with my states attorney general. This behavior is unacceptable, especially when NO written notice was sent to those who had purchased DLC via the Xbox live interface before the DLC was removed.
