Has anyone else noticed that as your driver level increases, so do the number of laps at race start?
I went back to do an unfinished event in the Domination Championship and immediately noticed that the number of laps had risen sharply. I was being asked to run 30 laps of Road Atlanta Full as the 1st race in a series of 6.
My only conclusion is that everyone’s career will be different dependant on their driver level at the time. If you decided to grind early for Driver Level and cars you are going to be faced with a VERY long career LOL.
Edit: I was wrong. I had inadvertently left the Race Length setting on Extra Long LOL.
The length of races does not change.
You have inadvertently changed the race length setting on the assists menu from standard to extra long.

I’ve been doing extra long career races in my favorite cars. Mainly slow ones like the MK2 Golf - I struggle to beat ‘unbeatable’ A.I. in the faster cars lol - but in the Golf I can win by 1000’s of feet, even lapping some of the unbeatable A.I. (even lapped all of them in a 40 lap race around one of the Dubai tracks)
I seem to level up at least 3 times after each race. It’s a good way for me to hot lap as the leaderboards are pretty much non existent.
But yeah, you probably just changed the race length without realizing.

LOL, I just checked and you’re correct. Thank goodness for that and thanks for clearing up my mistake.
