Not quite sure what happened cause this was not an issue for the first half of my career mode seasons but there is serious lagging that will hold the throttle, brake or hold the steering over longer then what i actually pushed or pulled for. There is what it seems like certain parts of the track it will do this on but sometimes its completely random. You will be going down a straightaway and all of a sudden the car will just bank left into the wall for no reason whatsoever. This is very frustrating as you get many laps into a race and all of a sudden you go past a turn cause the throttle sticks or the car brakes longer or turns without any input from the user. Like i said this is NOT ONLINE PLAY. Getting very frustrated cause i love forza and have been a fan/owner of the game for almost all releases. I tried switching the batteries in my controller without any difference. I tried changing the car with no difference. I tried changing race type and just went to free play and it did the same thing. Sometimes when it lags or whatever its doing the screen with blink and there will be a difference in the sound of the music/ sound effects of the race. Im not sure what to do and i don’t really see where anyone else is having these issues. I haven’t tried playing another game yet to see if it does it with another game. I don’t know if its my console or its the game itself. Its kinda hard to show how its messing up cause the throttle may stick or the car may veer very suddenly and its hard to show if its on purpose or by accident but if needed i can take a video. Any help would be greatly appreciated so i can get back to playing my game properly. thanks
Sounds like a controller issue? Try using a regular cell phone charging cable with a USB end, removing the batteries completely.
If that doesn’t work, I would contact Xbox Support from one of the links here: Xbox Support It isn’t beyond the realm of suspicion that a controller may go bonkers.
