Car Type: Drag racing models
This topic covers voting for the inclusion of the various professional drag racing classes such as Top Fuel Dragsters and Funny Cars in Horizon 5.
An example included in FH5 is the 2013 Chevrolet Summit Racing Pro Stock Camaro that was added as part of the Series 33 update.
for the older cars, I think the ability to make the drag cars out of the street cars where possible would be nice.
I believe there was an Oldsmobile Toronado drag car that was basically just a toronado, but it had another endine and drivetrain in the back (remember it was FWD normally) making a twin engined AWD drag car. ive heard it made a lot of power too, 2,500hp? though ive read conflicting information as to whether that was the combined engine output (like the twinmill in game making 1,900hp, that makes it 950hp per engine) or if that value is per engine for a combined total of ovet 5,000hp. I imagine the former, but the latter would be funny. This example was in 1966, but it definately continued this sort of thing through the 70s
I also know this sort of thing is done with a lot of VW drag cars and hillclimb cars, twin engined golfs are a wierdly common thing in the hillclimb scene.
This one? The one that almost killed multiple people and never ran completely bug free? Yeah, it was 2400 hp total. Most nitro engines were running around 1200 hp in that era.
Guys! C’mon! I just got the Xbox X Series from my kids (they’re adults, yes, I’m old) for Christmas and I quickly became addicted to this game, I’ve bought cars, car packs with real money, but can not seem to find this unicorn car… the Summit Racing drag car… after some research I found out this was only obtainable via a very difficult points race of some sort and can not find that race. I want that car…I’ll pay whatever it costs!! I love the drag racing in this game the most. While I’m here crying about what I WANT (LOL) can we get nitrous?, wheelie bars? and other suspension and parts associated with drag racing? You could literally make an entire expansion pack out of this form of racing alone… Forza Drag Racing… Anyway, if anyone can help me get that car, I’d appreciate it… No, I do not have billions in CR $$$$ I don’t use that cheat…I’d rather just buy the thing with real $$$ than spend 30 minutes to an hour glitching the game for CR $$$… who does a guy have to pay and how much?
