I feel that adding a Pro Stock car to the game was a great idea for those of us who like drag racing, but what was the point of adding only one pro stock vehicle? The Pro Stock Camaro’s popularity in game speaks for itself, but has no competition. Its would only be logical to add atleast another one. I don’t see anyone bringing up this topic, and the last series was lacking to say the least. I think many of us would have been much more excited about getting a different pro stock to compete with the present one available. (No offense to those who enjoyed the addition of 90’s vehicles)
The Forza community seems to be very divided. We all want different things, and thats understandable, but we need to stick together on certain topics if we want to make things happen. I’m cool with the addition of Porcshes, Ferraris etc, but on the same note, we have plenty of those in the game already. I’d like to see an effort put forward to get the devs to add another proper drag car that can hang with the Pro Stock Camaro. Thanks for reading.
just about any car can be upgraded to turn it into a drag car - I am not an expert on that, though, I could manage to put in a bigger engine and put on drag tyres but not much more than that
The Terminator Cobra, '68 Pontiac Firebird and Plymouth Belvedere let you make the rear tire profiles bigger. Though I think they’re the only muscle cars with the option so far
these ones have a drag preset
Buick Regal GNX
Chevy Camaro '70
Chevy El Camino
Chevelle '70
Chevy Camaro '69
Chevy Impala
Chevy Bel Air
Dodge Charger '69
Dodge Dart '68
Ford Coupe '40
Holden Torana
Holden Monaro
Plymouth Cuda
Don’t be sad bro. We’ve a whole thread about adding proper drag cars to fh5. We want more prostocks, more funny cars n everything in horizon. We’re in a fight of having more race cars to the game in comparison with production cars but if the devs will always focus on production cars blindly it will never possible.
@SpirantCrayon22@R3L04D he talks about having real dragsters. Those cars won’t help him or me either😌 we need proper drag cars(with parachute animation).
I mean I know I speak out of ignorance, but is there really all that much gameplay potential for cars that boil down to “hold accelerator in straight line”? Unless you’re talking about an actual dedicated drag racing game that models all of their unique physics, I’m not seeing it.
Let’s have a drag specific series update with all proper official drag cars with a paid dlc…so around 10-11 fresh drag cars in fh5…let’s set the drag strips on fire baby!!
Don’t get me wrong, I like the cars & there’s clearly more to it than this (tune, set-up, shift points/timing, etc…unless you’re running auto), but still, you’re essentially correct. I’ve received Rivals notifications for drag times before & spent time attempting to shave .0xx sec off a time based on the above & it got old pretty quickly (for me at least).
There isn’t that much game play potential with only three drag strips, some of the PR stunts and its ability to really just to only go in a straight line.
That being said, people do use that Pro Camaro to storm some of the offroad rivals and given that we’ve had a few new tracks, creating some new drag strip events I think would be feasible. They are also nice cars just to fool around in.
