I haven’t bought any DLC’s yet, I’m trying to decide what to get. Is there an overall pass that will get me every DLC so far and in the future? Like the Season Pass on FH1?
Also, if you pay for a DLC, do you get the cars free or do you still have to pay with in-game credits?
I’m not very up to date as far as DLC’s go, I have no idea.

If you pay for dlc you will get cars for free in game for the first time you download them
Oh thank God lol, I’m not rich in-game at the minute so that is good to hear. I’ve already decided on the VIP pass, and I’m thinking about the Car Pass as well, just looking for opinions on whether it’s worth it. Thanks Gemma =)
Stop posting, start racing. Unless you’re on the 360, money is in abundance in the game. 100-150K/hour on Championships. 100-120K/hour on Online Roadtrips. And with good skill, 250K/hour on Rivals. I just got paid a staggering 32,000Cr for a 3-minute Rival which I beat.
Haha, yeah you’re right, I should really get cracking with the championships, I’ve only done 35 of them, got bored to be honest. I’ve only got 6 more achievements left to get though, working on the ‘Friends with benefits’ achievement at the minute, so hopefully I might get around 32,000Cr too like you did. 
The 360 version is so much easier, just blast the speed traps, I got 1 million in under an hour. Too bad you don’t get Cr for beating traps on the One version though, but Horizon promo makes up for that. I have 196 cars but I still need a lot of the expensive ones, with double rewards from the VIP I’m sure it’ll be good. Rivals, here I come!
I’ve done the car pass on the last four Forza titles and I would recommend it, especially as the cars from DLC packs are now free in game. For me, the monthly packs give me something to look forward to and keeps the game fresh. T10 seem to get a lot of flak for their love of DLC, but I like it. Last week of every month is a guessing game as to what new cars will be available and the wait after the announcement is like a mini release countdown.
Money-wise, the pass represents a pretty good saving over buying each pack individually and the pass also grants an extra car exclusive to pass owners.
If you want the maximum experience from the game and you can afford the initial payout for the pass it is well worth it. If I remember correctly, 6 packs have been confirmed by T10 (someone correct me if I’m wrong) which means 30 extra cars that will be free to access in your game. My advice if you are unsure is to wait until the next pack is announced and take a look at it and last month’s pack and see if you feel the purchase is worth while to you.

If you’re going to buy any DLC at all, get the car pass.
It’s the best bang-for-your-buck.
