Car Pass discussion

No, Car Pass cars are exclusive for the people that purchase it and they are not available in the general game. The first time they download for free (in game currency 0 cr) to your garage, and afterwards you can purchase with game currency.

Expanding on what WhiteSwordTower said, the Car Pass is just a bulk discount on paid DLC that you can purchase separately. (Or, that’s how it worked in the past when there were monthly car packs - this time there will be 2 cars delivered each week). If you own a Deluxe or Ultimate Edition you will have paid for access to the cars covered by the Car Pass. If you own the Standard Edition, you should be able to either buy DLC car packs or DLC cars separately as add-ons when they are released, or buy the Car Pass as an add-on and have paid for access to all those cars.

This is different than the concept of microtransactions (paying to access a regular in-game car faster than you would have earned it with gameplay, which FH4 does not have), or Exclusive cars (such as Barn Finds) which are only accessible through gameplay. The Car Pass does not apply to any on-disc cars that have special status.

The 2018 Nissan Sentra is nice. Hasn’t been in Forza for a while. But the BMW i8 Roadster is a Roadster with butterfly doors, so it’s ugly AND has gained LOTS of weight over it’s sister. This is the ugly step-sister of the normal i8. AND it’s tacky.

I’m really looking forward to that Sentra as well. Something about sticking a Nismo kit on a Sentra is so ridiculous I love it. The RX7 is a treat as well.

Now that’s funny. T10 says they want to keep supporting FM7 to avoid having the situation where old Forza is abandoned with the release of new Forza regardless of being Motorsport or Horizon. And now they leak the first few cars in the Car Pass, some of which make me seriously consider entirely dropping FM7 for a good amount of time instead of keeping both in parallel…

I’m afraid it’s not gonna work too well for FM7. Especially if the few cars not included in FH4’s starting list, like the 812 Superfast, are made available through Forzathon points… I would love to be proven wrong, but at this rate I’m expecting them to drop the Race Regulations update whenever it comes (December, most likely) and simply call it a day. 100% of the team working on the game, they say, but FH4 gets a lot of the goodies that should’ve been in FM7 instead of stuff like the Chevy Colorado and the Arctic Trucks Land Cruiser. Heck, the Senna itself is more track than street. Not cool, T10. Not cool.

Talking about the cars themselves, I must say I don’t know my Triumphs but it sounds like a good thing, this TR3B. The RX-7 Spirit-R is also very welcome, as is the Agera RS. The 356A is probably a coupe which is always nice next to the Speedster we currently have.

oh come on
you should know better by now

horizon is Playgrounds baby not Turn10’s

and have you forgotten that they announced months ago that one more pack to be included in the car pass ( they announced 2, received the 1st one) still to come in fm7
can you speculate what might probably come in that , but have to wait till the release of FH4 before they can release it…hint hint cover car for fh4, again I’m only speculating since that 2nd pack still hasn’t been announced what’s in it

A company focusing more on a new game then a game they released over a year ago? Gee, Never heard of such a phenomenon.

^^^^^^For a guy that seems to know it all,FH4 has a whole different team that works on it,so 100% of T10 can still be working on FM7,as for me,i’ll keep playing both games,a few cars will not make me leave a game.

Keep laughing. When it happens, I’ll gladly let you have some humble pie.

However, if I’m the one to eat it, I’ll do it with pleasure! Because having both games equally supported would be pretty great.

Who the hell is laughing?I just stated facts, nothing funny about that!!

I purchased the ultimate edition and car pass cars are avalible free to my user, but my sons account on that same xbox, shows the car pass cars but is asking for him to by the car pass again, or the one car (pyhsically buy, not ingame credits). If I remember right, in horizon 3, the car pass cars were available to all users on the xbox and the first one was free. Why is it different with this new game?

Have you tried leaving your account logged in when he’'s playing? That’s the only way it worked on FM7.

My account has to be logged in for him to launch the game. It is a new xbox one x that I just bought but is not set to the home console. My original console is still set to the home console. Maybe that has something to do with it, maybe I need to try it on the original xbox that is marked as the home console, or even switch the new on to the home console.

Be sure your Xbox is set to Home Xbox.
