EDITIONS

Each edition includes the base game of identical content, plus add ons:

• $59.99 Standard Edition = game
• $79.99 Deluxe Edition = game + Formula Drift Car Pack + Car Pass
• $99.99 Ultimate Edition = game + Formula Drift Car Pack + Car Pass + VIP + Day One Car Pack + 2 Expansions
  Standard Edition is included free with Xbox Game Pass, and also included in two Xbox console bundles (see next post).

FORMAT DIFFERENCES

Although the game content is the same regardless of the device, ownership benefits, installation size, and display quality vary:

• Xbox Play Anywhere: a digital purchase entitles Xbox console ownership, plus Windows 10 PC installation for free. Achievements and gamesave sync back and forth. You don’t need to own a console to play on PC. Physical disc purchase does not provide Windows 10 PC installation.
• Xbox One Compatible: Any purchased edition will play on Xbox One / One S / One X.
• Xbox One X Enhanced: If you install and play on One or One S and then switch to One X, you will receive a 4K asset content update for free.
• Install size: TBA
• Resolution: 4K Ultra HD is not available on Xbox One / One S.
• High Dynamic Range: HDR is available on Xbox One S and One X and PC with enabled tv/monitor.
• Framerate: 60fps mode is available on Xbox One X. PC can play at unlocked framerate with capable hardware.

Forza Horizon 4 Demo

Forza games typically do not have a Beta release. A Demo is typically announced in August and released 2 to 4 weeks before launch. The FH4 E3 announcement did not mention a Demo; info will be added if/when it is announced.

Related Apps

As of June 12 there has been no announcement about a game companion app that would allow remote access to the Auction House, Livery Editor, or gameplay.

Xbox App

The Xbox app is a free download for the console and mobile devices, which allows you to see your Xbox Activity Feed, Achievements, Captures, Xbox Clubs, and control your console. Streaming your console gameplay to your PC monitor allows you to use your tv for other content. The PC version can be used for Party Chat.

Forza Hub

Forza Hub is a free app for consoles and Windows 10 PCs that centralizes news and content for all Forza games. The app allows you to read articles published at Forzamotorsport.net, check your Forza Rewards progress, redeem monthly rewards, learn about DLC, view gallery photos, and jump directly into games.
