Car Pass discussion

Hi, if been away for a couple of weeks. I saw that an new season has started with new cars in the carpass. But am i still able to get the cars i missed to claim last season??

Thanks in advance!!

Yes, you should.

Hallo, i dont have any troubles but a deaf friend of me, previous times (VW transporter pick up etc… was no problem to claim them

But today he REALLY REALLY love Porsche but he cant claim those Porsche cars (unreleased blabla)

I tried to help him

  • install car pass (now there is so many cars in manage folder of FH4
  • Reboot xbox TWICE
  • when i said to remove car pass in manage but … its GONE

But right now at 20h30 in Belgium he finally can claim those cars but i already did it on about 16h no problem for me but that friend cant cant cant but right now 20h30 he finally can claim those cars

What happened?

Can’t get the Porsche cars to release either and i’m in the UK

Same only I’m in Canada

Me too!!!

I can’t claim my 2019 992 911 Carrera S. I’m in The Nehterlands and it’s the 18th right now.

Message:

Unreleased car.
This car will be released on 01/17/2019

I can buy one in the auction. Thought I was smart in getting around this error, but I can only add the car to my garage, not actually drive in it.

Also, this is account related: when I log in with my cousin’s account with who I share my online media, I can drive his new 2019 Carrera S.

Damned annoying! Fix this. I have a One X if that helps. Deleted and redownloaded the game only to find the same stupid errors.

Same problem here.

Reinstall the car pass.

Honestly: In my opinion this is not a very good season. Not necessarily speaking about the cars, but about how many old cars there are.
We have 8 new cars per season, which means that I believe we should get 4 modern cars and 4 classic cars per season. But that´s just not the case. We have one modern car this season, being the Porsche 992. (I don´t count the NSX here as it is 14 years old and in addition to that has been in Horizon 1)

I feel like this games car pass is kinda weak!! I love the game and all, I wish we was more able too decide on what cars come to fh4.

worst car pack ever, and cars issues like the ZR1 and 992, where’s the 8-spd PDK transmission?

“let’s put a generic transmission, nobody will notice…” -PGG

I’m paid up, have purchased all available for Horizon 4. However, the DLC for 1/17/19 shows not available. When I select it I get a placard that states not accessable till 1/17/19. I’m reasonably sure today is the 19th. Any suggestions as to how one might procure these cars?..Charles

Uninstall the Car Pass DLC from the console, and then reinstall it. This apparently fixes a lot of problems with DLC cars not being available.

I find this month overrated, really. Last month was much better.

I must say the 992 is a fine addition, but it’s a weird car. It feels too impossibly fast. I know the 991.2 was a beast, but on Race tires this new C2S has a rating of 8.9 in handling. There’s cars with default aero which can’t hit this number! I wonder if it’s because of the four-wheel steering, but it handles absurdly well, so much that I have to relearn my techniques just to extract the maximum from the car.

The 968 on the other hand is the 944, but with a new body. Even those wheels, I’m sure they were nicked from the 964 Turbo S we’re still due in FH4. Same sound, same handling, same everything. Doesn’t feel right to pay for this car. Should’ve shipped with the game.

NSX-R GT feels more a compensation for people who can’t get the regular 2005 NSX-R than a new car in its own right. It probably won’t feel any different to drive at all. NSXes are great but this one feels redundant for a DLC.

Kadett probably won’t live up to its potential, because the choice of engines will be the Turbo Rally and those Honda VVTs most certainly, when GM (Opel, really) was able to develop excellent motors for the Formula Opel series, all of which based upon production units (the famous C20XE). Doesn’t sit right with me to stick a Honda engine into it, then. Same as with the Alfa GTA. Where’s the Calibra?

Mercedes is nice to cruise around in but anything to improve its performance beyond what the standard engine offers in terms of upgrades is just so wrong. If you landed a car like this in an RL auction, you’d never swap a Lambo engine into it.

Mustang is a new body, I like it (I heard you can make a Bullitt out of it, which is cool), but again, not anything to “wow!” over. Ford made cars other than the Mustang back in the day. We have the whole lot of GM’s midsize models (two Chevelles, the GTO Judge, the 442 and the GSX in FM7), yet no Ford Torino, nor Mercury Cyclone. Not even a classic Lincoln Continental. We haven’t seen the Thunderbird make a comeback either. Most importantly, when it comes to Mustangs, we don’t have the classic Shelby GT350 yet.

And finally, the Hillman Imp, Britain’s version of a car we’ve seen in FM7 already: the VW Type 3. Can’t see myself choosing this over a 2002 or a Datsun 510, really. Fits the theme, will certainly have some use, but not something that makes my heart race.

And it turned out exactly as you’ve foreseen. Basically the same car as the regular 2005 achieving exactly the same lap times on the same class. The only saving grace is the large amount of engine swaps. Swapped in the Racing V8 of the Ariel Atom and it turned out to be a fun ride on S1.

My S1 builds dont feel the same, gt version have mutch less hp on style of build but it feel mutch more grippy than normal version but in lap times dont have mutch difference.

I built an RWD no-aero on A800 as I did with the regular '05 NSX and it seems the NSX-R GT has more base grip and less drag but thanks to a working PI system it did even out with the lighter and more powerful regular NSX. In the end I couldn’t tell which one I was driving
That’s where the engine swap came in place and altered it on S1.
But as a DLC car it feels rather redundant with the regular '05 available.

I did S1 awd with aero and stock engine and there different was like 80kw. Damn would be fun to do blind test can i reconize which one im using because for me those feel different enough that i would know which one im using. btw what car orginal engine is that 3,5l tt hybrid? But i agree even with more engine swaps it’s still too mutch same than regular nsx to having a place in dlc car.

Since the new car pass cars have come out, every time I try to collect them it keeps saying "this car will be released on 24/01/2019?

Is anyone else having this issue, If so how do I fix this?
