I have done this race 20 times.
I have tried doing everything, pausing/unpausing, connecting and disconnecting internet, going in and out of different menus. racing with telemetry open. Race with and without assists.
You know i even went against my beliefs and learned spellcasting but Forza motorsport will not save my race after i complete it.
It gives me car points, gives me money, but the race itself will not save.
I could by the way, complete the entire class C series, but upon game exit, it just won’t save my progress.
I guess I just can’t earn the Audi R8.

It seems that the game saves the career mode progress by loading the schedule from the server in multiplayer, etc. (I have confirmed that multiplayer is saved, and I think there are other timing options such as rivals, etc.). When you finish one race in career mode, go back to the main menu, select multiplayer, and if you can get to the screen where you select a race, your career mode progress should be saved. On the other hand, if the multiplayer schedule did not load, I had to give up and redo the race.
I don’t know what the cause is, but it seems that the data is not loaded from the server after some time has elapsed.
So, to increase the chance of it being saved, I load the multiplayer once the career mode race is over, and then restart the game and try the next race.
With some players having problems trying to complete the open series and featured tours just to get these cars, I think this feature suggestion is becoming more and more relevant by the day.
