Can't Connect to Online Sessions

The latest update did not fix the online issues for me :frowning: Very dissapointed…

I have the same problem, im online on xbox live, but I get a message saying my account can’t be verified please try later, they need to fix this problem

IPSEc passthrough activated on my router and fixed! YES!

I have the exact same issue. This has been very frustrating. I cant do anything but single player. no rewards. no free cars.

NO MULTIPLAYER CONTENT WHATSOEVER. I’m growing impatient. Especially after the fact i was charged $120 when i initally biught the Day One DD and had to deal with getting a refund. I love this game and all of your games, but c’mon get your stuff together.

I wouldn’t be so upset if I paid $30 because all i have is half a game.
The experience i am currently receiving is not worth $60.
Terrible. I’m a poor college grad anyway

I have also had the same issue were trying to join online game, takes me about 5 go’s at it before I can get online

My record is seven failed attempts back-to-back. I give up. I would be a lot less disappointed if I could get my money back. $90 for a short single player offline game is a bit much.

Checked my router settings and IPSec is already enabled, tried with NAT type open and strict, and nothing, have restarted my router like 5 times and nothing happens, my NAT says its behind a NAT cone if that makes any difference i don’t know

This is absolutely ridiculous. If I would’ve known i was going to have to deal with this, i would have NEVER bought this game. I demand a refund. Totally taking advantage of the consumer. At least ******* acknowledge the problem its been 9 ******* days!

I’m having the same problem on the 360, so is my friend. What a joke this is, I just made a topic about it but it has to go through moderation so will no doubt never see the light of day.

Just adding my experiences with multiplayer to this thread as this issue NEEDS to be addressed.

I’ve actually been able to get online quite a lot, my issue seems to be intermittent. I can literally go from playing online with club mates, then changing mode from say, Online Road Trip to Online Freeroam and then boom: ‘unable to connect to session’ repeatedly. No amount of resetting my router, power-cycling the XB1 etc. solves the problem. I can leave the game for the night and try the next night and it’s completely fine. So, I’m assuming it a server-side problem. It’d just be nice to get some kind of official word on this, even a ‘we’re looking into it’ would be appreciated.

My NAT is open and my fibre optic broadband router has no options to select Ipsec.

The game is brilliant apart from this massive problem. :frowning:

At what point do turn ten say “hey we are aware of this problem and we are trying to sort it out” at the moment it feels like they are walking around with their fingers in their ears going “la la la la la I can’t hear you”

Same problem, but in forza 5. I can buy horizon 2 on xbox one and 360 with all DLC but I don’t want, becouse I think Turn 10 don’t need my money.

P.S. Forza fan.

I also cannot connect and neither can my buddy in either Forza 5 or Forza Horizon 2.
How can it be so difficult, and yet minecraft was instant connect…as is every other multiplayer experience I try…
cannot find any answers…

NATopen.

For those of you with the problem connecting with online gaming when it says “installing content” even though it says 100%. I contacted Xbox about the issue, and they are in contact with turn 10 studios on the fix. I found my own fix. Uninstall and reinstall forza horizon 2, you will not lose game progress as it is saved via cloud drive. i know this takes a while. but it works.
