Can't connect to multiplayer servers

I always seem to get various “Failed to”-messages when attempting to play multiplayer. It worked once, and it later kicked me back to the menu screen. This happens no matter what; wired or wireless. Help please! Nothing works! :frowning:

This is what used to happen to me. Sometimes I would get on the games multiplayer no problem, but more often than not Forza 6 would dump me. eventually I got sick of this and stopped trying to play online, to the stage when let my online subscription lapse. I’m sorry this is know help to you, but wish you well in your quest.

Happens to me all the time, what works for me is to click on" restart console".Sign back in and it should be okay for the rest of the night and next time it happens just do it again. It’s annoying but at least you get to race right? If that doesn’t work for you try turning off your power pack for 5mins and after you turn it back on it should be fine{until next time}.

The TRUTH: Nothing works

Welcome to the club!

Today I can’t connect to the servers…and If I can, I can’t get in a lobby!!!
I LITERALLY TRIED hundreds of times.
Log in, log off, enter the game, quit, retry, hard shut down of the console, removing the plug, turning off the router, turning it on, turning off upnp and try dmz instead, change MTU, change DNS,…nothing worked!!!

I still can’t play.

I’ve had this problem for over 2 weeks now, tried all of these including the MAC address thing. Still can’t connect. I’ve been told to do port forwarding but haven’t had chance to do it yet, looks quite complicated though, not sure if I can be arsed frankly, shouldn’t have to be like this.

Don’t do port forwarding because every game has different ports.

try different router. I changed from the hard wired in my room to wire less and I was able to get online in the multiplayer.

Looks like I’m stuck with Drivatars then. It’s a shame T10 sucks so much now and offer literally no support for us, but hey, what can you do? No more games for Xbox One, no more nothing. Only Steam games from here on out so that I can get a refund if such a core feature such as the multiplayer doesn’t work.

Thanks for all the help anyway, guys.

These forums are and always have been primarily peer support. I suggest you check out the various links here: Xbox Support That is networking support from Xbox Live for the Xbox One consoles.

Drill down in the information, and find the link to your specific modem/router/gateway device. Sometimes a minor adjustment there will solve everything.

I already have tried many of those generic-“solutions” and nothing works. These forums are the ONLY way of getting support as there is no e-mail, phone, nothing.

Got the “failed to find game session” message again in leagues tonight so early bedtime for me. Hopefully this is just shortlived.

PS. This was after the 500+ XB update, but not necessarily related, I think.
