This is super weird. First i changed my fov and was like huh? Nothing happened. Went back to settings and noticed that custom fov need to “activate” first. Never seen this kind of thing in any games.
And yes, definitely needs a seat adjustment and need to able to set when you’re behind the wheel.
The FOV should increase a bit, imo
For some cars. at 65 % ( highest ) is too much zoom in
Have been using the new fov settings i use cockpit view with drivers hands and wheel view have found on the cars ive been driving not all but in cockpit view i get a part black headless driver sitting in car obscuring part of wheel and dash.even setting fov to default dose not remove this dose my head in this thing bobbing around in the cockpit seen one youtube vid seeing this but not seen any reports about it hope we can get a fix
I think left right movement would be kinda cheat… though this game have outdoor pov so may be it’s fine as outdoor camera can centered. But we definitely need camera movements to even see the road in some cars.
Please add a seating position slider not just FOV!
Yes please us with cockpits definitely need all the seating positions!
What are the real values in degrees for FOV in this game. 65 points is not 65 degrees. It looks more like 100 degrees. Nobody on the internet has tested this. Same with the HDR setting are out-of-wack.
i think they use vertical fov for their value, so it seems lower (but created a larger effect) as its relative and linked (the more you see vertically, the more you see horizontally).
Cockpit view with arms and steering wheel comes across as a chest camera to me. I’ve been trying to get the wheeless view to work but, its hit or miss. Too much of a fish eye lens effect, even on the lowest FOV setting (25). It would be nice if the game properly supported triple screens and side monitor angle adjustments.
Similar request here, I’ve been begging for years — even reached out to the developers DIRECTLY on LinkedIn. I’ve LOST all hope, Forza is the ONLY major racing game that doesn’t get this right:
