I don’t know if this also happening in FM(8) 2023 as I haven’t done much making designs in the game because I still unable to sync FM(8) to my FH5, only FH4 that FM(8) was able to connect so I can transfer my designs and vinyls from FH4…
But in relation to this subject, I’d like to add about one of my wrap design being stolen, what happened in my case was my wrap design from FH3 was stolen and then upload it and shared to FH5 as it is his/her intellectual property
I assumed it was because maybe there’s not much going on back in FH3 as per today, so my analysis is the perpetrator downloaded one of my wrap design, then changed the wrap design file so it can be transferred to FH5, and then shared in FH5…
I already reported my case in April 2023, they sent me ticket, I provided more evidences I was able to collect, but then… that’s it, the only respond that they sent me was… they begun their investigation into the matter based on the information provided and, if needed, will take appropriate action based on their findings. If they do take action, please note that for privacy reasons, they are unable to share the specifics…
And after that the status of my cased became “solved”…, so then I don’t know what should I expect, I can understand the “privacy” reasoning, but stealing is stealing, and at the very least I would expect they’re going to banned the perpetrator profile for good…
But what do you know? They let them free until now… you can check the perpetrator CH profile it’s still up there with 267 Designs…
I wasn’t really sure to report the perpetrator again after that, I mean… even now 6 months after that, obviously they still didn’t take action…
And today I found this thread of subject… so I think it would be useful for everyone else to know as well, because after seeing what the perpetrator’s CH, I don’t think that it was only my wrap design that been stolen…

So… there you go…, I’m not saying that the perpetrator stole all those, but just think about it… all that were top notch quality were available in one place in the perpetrator’s CH?? C’mon… 
Hopefully this thread can make changes needed to the game, people spent lot of hours in making them… it’s their intellectual property… have some respect and appreciations… and please devs… do something… 
01 - From what I could identify, several of his designs are stolen (Those from GTA, if I’m not mistaken, they are from “forca seaman”).
02 - This only bought what I already reported and have been reporting to game support since the beginning of Forza Horizon 4 (and until now nothing has been done by support and game developers) people are stealing designs and vinyl groups, they do small changes and say that it is theirs
Thank you for sharing your experience, as I have been reporting this to support for years and nothing is done, I hope that more cases appear and that more people report this as it is past time for the game developers to give some security to the designs, something that has been left out in the open for years in the game.
one of my tickets was answered today.
I was informed that they are investigating and will update as soon as possible.
If you just downloaded it, there’s no problem, I believe.
Now the person who used the glitch to be able to share/edit someone else’s drawing, then yes, IF the developers fix the glitch and decide to ban people.
Good news, they will fix the bug in next month’s update

Gameplay
- Resolved an exploit related to changing car tune mid-race.
- Fixed issue where the game becomes stuck in the “new content update” loop when entering the main menu.
- Fixes to Replays in scenarios where Replays do not start playing, the cars do not move, or they float.
- Fixed issue with a forced camera change at the start of a race.
Cars
- Fixed issue with the 2018 Porsche 718 Cayman GTS Sport Roll Cage visual upgrade option, which removes the roof of the car when viewed in first-person.
Wheels
- Fixed issue that prevented the Thrustmaster T248 LED screen from displaying race position information.
Stability is an area that we’ll continue to work on beyond Update 2 with additional improvements coming to Forza Motorsport in future updates.
Is this for FM(8) or FH5? I know the black paint issue in FM but not in FH5, I don’t know if we’re able to paint rims in FM like we did in FH5 though, been playing FM(8) recently with game pass and painting rims in FM in my opinion is like in FH3 one paint for all parts of the rims and that’s it, I think I’m not going to continue my game pass subscription for FM due to lack of options in its design and paint editor…

For those who didn’t watch today’s live, the bug will be fixed in the Forza Motorsport update on November 14th

I tested it and everything indicates that the bug has been fixed. Thank you to everyone who paid attention to this problem and also reported this bug.
The only thing is that if your design was “stolen/changed the author” apparently it was not removed from the other players’ creative hub, I don’t know if this will be fixed as it would be a much more complicated process.
Glad to hear that the bug has been fixed. Sadly one player alone has used the glitch whilst it was active to unlock and use countless of my vinyls along with at least 4 other people’s on one car.
I made a list with the names of the players who took my vinyl groups and reported it but apparently so far only one of them has been banned/suspended (or he just unshared everything, I can’t know 100%) the fact is that there are still several vinyl groups that were stolen and are still shared.
I believe it will be difficult for developers to track all players to find out what was “stolen” and delete the content, the way is to manually report if you see something of yours with another player and wait to see if something will be done.
I agree with everything you said, I really hope the developers pay more attention to this part of the game.
