I’m not on motorsports and my vinyls in FH5 is unshared. But if this is not taken serious by the developers it will ruin the game for most painters.
Did not know that u could transfer vinyls backwards to an older forza? Nerver tried…

transferring to old forzars using just the game is impossible (I think) BUT nowadays with people using certain third party programs to create things in games…you know…it’s complicated… .
Forza not having anti cheat complicates everything.
True. I have been painting since FM4 and have paints and vinyls from 5,6 and 7 which took me a long time to make and collect,lets hope it gets sorted soon
I saw a post on the Share Your Creations Facebook group that someone had a full livery stolen and posted as an original (it was a Statue of Liberty paint)

Total BUMMER! I don’t have the new game yet, but I hope they resolve this.
As for your other comments here, I just want to say, when you share a vinyl you are putting it at risk of being traced, or having certain ideas used by others. I am not great at making logos, what I do, I bring the image up on Google Images, make the logo, then I download the logo from a painter I know who makes perfect logos. I then compare them side-to-side and if I see flaws in color, skew, etc. I adjust accordingly. As someone who has painted since FM3, I can tell you this, I COULD download any of your vinyl groups and trace them to make an exact replica without cheating, stealing, hacking, modding, or using any 3rd party software. It’s much easier than you think to do this. I choose not to do that, but not everyone thinks the same. I’ve had people ask me if they can trace my vinyl groups, and I say, “Go for it.” Because there’s nothing I can do to stop them… it’s not against any rules or terms of service to trace something.
Keep on painting cool stuff, I like your work. And hopefully T10 fixes the issue so you can share again in the new Motorsport.
And yes, definitely wish they’d have anti-cheat regarding painting. That 3rd party software ruins it for many painters. And with what you said about deleting the data of all players… that would be a tough hit for us who have put so many hours into designs/vinyls, BUT I get your point. When the new console came out, and folks could NOT import from FM4 to the new console for FM5/6 and FH3, it was then when we found out who could really paint. Designs and vinyls were stolen/hacked in FM4 and it affected myself and almost every painter I know. So back then we were dealing with the same thing. Did someone trace it? Did I gift it to someone who then gifted it onto others, or did it get hacked/stolen and gifted around?
This caused mass confusion on who was actually painting back then and who was just stealing others’ work.
When I finally got a new console and moved on from FM4, it was actually nice to have a clean slate and have to start over with designs and vinyls.

As I said, that Image was sourced from Google!!! Where it can be found by anybody! I paint from scratch using a source image as a guide.
As I said. Anything found on the internet or in-game. You don’t own a right too. There are no copyrights bro! I’ve painted Pokemon from source images that are used as a guide. Some people and many have painted the very same Pokemon. Am I going to accuse them of copying me?! Glitching the game?!
You accused me in your post of being a painter that used an exploit or glitch to copy your stuff! And now you’ve changed your tune. I didn’t and don’t and have never used any program exploit or glitch! Get that into your empty head!
There’s no doubt that happens and as the poster above has said, they can even overlay logos and such in-game. No doubt many of my own have been used that way. I don’t continue to bawl about it years later.
If anything, yours has been overlaid using a mirror app! It’s too perfect to the source image, mine ain’t perfect! As it’s been painted by-eye.

Also for the record. I no longer have (power) as you so elegantly put it. I don’t admin that Facebook community anymore. I’m no longer a Forza community leader either. Than was my decision to step away from it all, I just play the game now, because that’s what it is. A game!
So far you haven’t been able to prove to me that you didn’t copy, the seven points I pointed out prove that you copied or were based on my drawing, such as “trace” as they said, both being very serious and bad things for the game.
I NEVER used anything other than the game to draw, people know me in the game because I’m a painter, they know you because of social media.
If you want, I can point out more things that my drawing is different from the original and that you copied from me.
At no point did I change my tone, you’re the one trying to change the subject. THE MAIN POINT IS YOU COPIED MY DRAWING AND NOT SOMETHING YOU GOT FROM GOOGLE, I’M SORRY BUT YOU HAVE TO BE VERY DUMB TO NOT NOTICE THAT!!!

Firstly. I don’t know you, I don’t care about you, I don’t base my Forza time or focus on who is better than whom, to bring it down to that is quite pathetic tbh. It just shows massive paranoid narcissism on your part.
I’m an adult and I (painted) because I enjoyed it. If I were to be jealous of anybody in the game of Forza art (which I’m not! Because ADULT!!!) it’d be Stuzib or FormFirm, or SnakeEyes or a few others I know. It wouldn’t be a dude that cries over a waifu for three years. I’ve better things to think about mate.
Secondly anything I have done in-game, in-community has been done for the benefit of others, other painters. That was eventually recognised by the developers and also recognised by those that know me personally.

For those who play on PC, have you also noticed that the number of times the game crashes after yesterday’s update has increased?
I mean I had already unshared all my vinyl groups on the 15th and yesterday I unshared all my car designs but it was really painful and the game crashed about 10 times when I opened the edition to unshare.
