nope. I know what the big black things are that change shape when cornering. Game dvr clip will be made in 12 hours to prove it. Sadly I can’t game until then.
I also have a button you are going to trigger if you make another backhanded comment. You are free to debate all you want but the last two posts will see you out the door if it happens again.
So it’s okay for you to start calling me a crashers but it’s not okay for me to tell you thats wrong. Makes a whole lot of sense. You are also free to debate all you want Wormbuster but please leave your childish remarks elsewhere. We have no place for that here in the forums. And wormbuster, you don’t scare me with that trigger of yours. Matter fact, where do I report mod misconducts.
I’ve noticed tire flex in-game, but not to the extent of what it looks like in photomode.
Also to people saying GT smoke is better, I’d have to disagree. The AMOUNT of smoke was much better but I found that smoke doesn’t slowly build like it should. If you watch any GT6 drifting video, or at least the one I did (as a refresher), you can even see once the front tires countersteer for too long, they just start POURING smoke out of nowhere.
Though FM5 has the same problem. During races random “puffs” of smoke from understeer, or what have you, are much bigger and more intrusive than they should be.
As far as I know there’s been no game that has gotten smoke 100% right. Maybe some mods on rFactor, or iRacing.
I have noticed more severe tire flex than any shown in this thread so far and will get it on dvr. Hopefully only about 4 hours to go until I can pick up the controller.
Just to be sure I’m clear, my whole “no tire flex” deal is that it doesn’t occur in FM4. It probably does happen in FM5, but I haven’t seen videos of it occur, or even played it yet. Also, FM4 can sometimes appear to have tire flex during normal driving, but when I spent a bunch of time looking for it I eventually realized the tire itself was simply going through the ground and not actually flexing. Finally, isn’t this thread about tire smoke and not tire flexing? Or did we just randomly change to a different thread? Lol
Cloud computing will fix frame rate problem when Microsoft and developers bring it out. The solution for the troll part is simple but they will fix that when they want to.
That is true enough Worm, the APU’s in both the X1 and PS4 are based on almost 5 year old technology. In the grand scheme of things tech wise, they are already ancient and outdated. But I only really buy a console for forza at this point, and a few other xbox exclusive games. Pretty much everything else I get via steam or Origin for my PC, I think I have a lot of the triple A games from the last 5 years on my PC at this point. I don’t even have that many Xbox 360 games.
No one has mentioned the fact that FM5 was a release title and they had to bump up the release date on top of that. When FM4 was coming out Dan had mentioned how they learned so much making that title and that over the years they learned how to work with the console and streamlined a lot of the the code, making the games run more efficient. So since FM5 was a ground up rewrite and they lost time to do more devolving and testing. Remember there is as many different ways to write the code as there are different people writing it, the simplest of code can be very taxing on a processor if written inefficiently. I would assume that with FM6 and any other release after that things should again get better.
