One of the key parts of The Eliminator is choosing a good start location. If you’ve chosen a good one, you’ll get a decent drop at the start. Today I’m going to rank my favorite spots to start in the FH4 Eliminator mode.
#5 - Express Rail Yard
The train yard in the northern part of the map is my #5 pick. Generally this spot is pretty solid. Almost every time, you’ll find a decent starting car or two. I’ve had some really good luck here in the past.
#4 - Ambleside
The little town of Ambleside comes in as my #4. Often you can find some very high level drops right out of the gate here, but usually there’s other people you have to fight for drops with, so it isn’t my favorite. Still a good start.
#3 - Mortimer Gardens
This tiny area in the Northwest part of the map comes in #3. There is usually a Level 5 or 6 here immediately, and while the zone tends to be a ways away, there isn’t much traffic and it’s almost always a solid start.
#2 - Slate Quarry
I don’t have too many complaints about this little industrial area tucked away in the forest. The drops are good, there are multiple different points for drops to spawn, and it’s a good place to camp and wait for new drops when the arena shrinks. However, you will often find 2 or 3 other cars there at the same time, so it’s difficult to pick up cars.
#1 - Edinburgh
The big city really is the perfect starting point. Rarely will you find another car there. There’s always a great drop, Level 5+. And there are tons of car drops. It’s a bit hard to navigate at first, but you get used to it. I like to spawn just up the road from the Castleview Road player house, at the 4-way intersection. By far the best spot on this list, in my opinion.
Those are my top 5 Eliminator start points in Forza Horizon 4. I hope this will help you guys win some more games. Good luck!
