I have just recently started playing Forza Horizon 3. I have collected over 400 000XP, and am level 6. I have found 2 Barn Door finds, and have made sure these are real by comparing with my friend who has finished the game and has all of them. When I approached the barn, the garage door did not open, and I went right in front, far away, and on all 4 sides of the barn. I have tried to approach it in the Land Rover Range Rover, 2012 BMW M5, and BMW M4. Does anyone know what might be going on?
Did your game announce that there was a barn find in such n such an area? The game has to tell you there’s a barn find, then you can locate it on the map and drive to it. As you drive close, the game takes over and goes in to animation mode. Then you leave and the car goes to the garage to be repaired and once it’s ready to collect, the game will notify you.
It only releases a new barn find every so often, based on time spent in the game. You can’t just drive to a known barn find location to collect it without the game activating it initially
