BARN FINDS LIST AND DETAILS FAQ: IS IT POSSIBLE TO FILL ALL BARN FIND SLOTS? updated January 31, 2018
Barn Finds are cars hidden around the map that are not available to buy from the Autoshow. Regular gameplay progress will trigger a barn find rumor (mentioned by a radio DJ and alerted on screen) which will place a purple circle around an area on the map. You must then search the area with your car or Drone to find the barn’s exact location, revealing it as a bright purple house icon:
Barn Finds are found in structures with a specific style of door.
Once triggered, a cut scene will play and the car will be sent to your garage, but not immediately: the car will be put through a restoration process which takes time or you can speed it up by paying credits. Now fully restored, the car will be available to use like your other cars, with upgrades and paint. Each barn find model can only be collected once from the map location, but you may be able to buy additional cars of that model from other players in the Auction House.
FAQ: I only have 20/22 Barn Find slots filled - is it possible to buy the car to fill the empty slot?
The AMC Pacer and Porsche 356A were made available as rumor discovery one time via Forzathon challenges in early 2017. If you missed the challenges you may be able to buy the cars from the Auction House for your garage, but this method won’t fill the empty Barn Finds menu slots. Two upcoming Forzathon events starting March 30, 2018 will trigger Barn Find Rumors which are probably these two cars.
So I have spent weeks look to find out how to unlock the last barn find and all I have found out is its an Amc and looks like after days of hunting it was date locked is this true and if so am I right in guessing it lockEd of ever now? And question 2 how do u get the last one was told win a race in a porsche but that triggered nout ?
[Mod Edit - As of May 2017 there are at least two Barn Find slots that could only be filled by past Forzathon rumors. Turn 10 has not announced when or if these Barn Find rumors will reappear. You can obtain the cars from the Auction House for your garage, but the slots will remain open. - MM]
Can anyone tell me if its possible to get the 19th and 20th barn finds been doing races and nothing or am a wasting time playing the game as it can’t be completed and wasting my time on this as it seems you never get a reply of them
Irrespective of the number (which seems to depend on if you have the BM expansion) the last two main map barn finds were and will be unlocked by forzathon events…
There may well be future Barn Finds but the Porsche pack only included the 7 plus Forzathon add ons. It’s surprising the amount of free cars we get really yet people still whinge. I only ever do S1 races in a 458, so I won’t bother with DLC from now on
Totally agree. We’ve probably had the equivalent of at least two car packs worth of brand new cars from Forzathons and people still find a way to complain. Blows my mind. It isn’t like the Forzathons are a secret if you look at the menus in game and it literally takes minutes to get the free cars so far. I take 5-15 minutes in the morning to get them and usually complete Forzathon before I go to work. You can’t ask for it to be any easier than that. I’ll have the 959 tomorrow at around 5am before I’ve even fully woken up. lol
Am I missing something then, I have 19 Barn Finds, just counted, but as I don’t have the Scout cause I havent got BM I assume that’s the 20th I’m missing. As said my mate has 19 also but no Pacer as he has BM??
A play to get everything I paid top price for game, add-ons the lot and not all people can get on at weekends so making a barn find that you won’t be able to get now and won’t be able to get 100% completion because of it is ridiculous that’s what annoys me
Dont bring what you paid into it
Does make you any more entitled
Most people have paid the same if not more
And you have received everything you have paid for
Anything extra is a bonus
And you can always buy the car in the auction house
