GT Sport isn’t like the old Gran Turismos though. There’s no right or wrong answer to any of this as it’s down to personal preference and ideology. Some love GT Sport for getting rid of the grind, while others miss the old-style career mode progression with all the cars you can only unlock either with lots of credits or by beating special events / obtaining licenses.
I like to have something to work towards in a game, either through grinding or skill, but I don’t much like having rare - and especially rare and overpowered - cars dependent on luck (either literally luck like wheelspins, or being around at the right time to get it from the Forzathon shop, ie. I bought the game in December so until yesterday the Bone Shaker was all but impossible to obtain, even if I had a billion CR or even if I was prepared to pay out real world money).
any car / tune suggestion for the seasonal objective aerodrome speed trap ?
usual is 298 km/h, I managed to get 336 with the Bugatti Veyron maxed but I am still short for 50 km.
Besides starting on the near grass, I am not able to have so much speed due the distance.
Thanks
Dunno about them. 370km/h is reachable by a fair number of cars without the long top speed slog. For that one the turn into the aerodrome is pretty important. A good accelerating car that cannot make the turn is no bueno. Rewind can help. make turn to crash through debris, rewind then do it with a clear line.
With good accelearation you dont need turn at all to hit 370km/h on that speed trap, mosler and aventador fe can hit that when starting where drag race event start. at agera need to take bit speed by starting other side of the road, and there is still lots of cars that can hit that 370km/h, mosler is my choise most of pr stunts other than drifting.
Yeah, but that also means you need an expensive and harder to get car vs something attainable if you aren’t minmaxed.
Edit: Reminds me back of when there was the edinburgh speed trap couple months back, everybody saying needed the superfast, etc… what were the details… cannot remember. Anywhoo, a good line made it readily doable without needing some overpriced non autoshow car.
Mosler is abaout 30k (those dont sell even at minium auction house prize because there is so many of those cars) so it’s pretty mutch cheapest option also.
I remember that edinburgh speed trap also, i think it was also 370km/h and you need to use super gt car and well most super gt cars are really not that good getting that kinda speed, even with PO aston martin that wasnt too easy.
I was finally after something like 6-8 hours searching able to buy second normal regalia, those sell really fast, even at 20m cr price those are gone right away.
If you are going to put an auction house in a game work out how to make the auction fun. The Mosler was an opportunity to put a car in there that sells well, but they over-killed it.
I used the same maxed out Agera, with Rally suspension, that I use for Danger Signs. Took about 5 trys to get the right run up but it still did it… Then used the same car on the Danger Sign.
It almost became a side job. How many “exclusive cars not in the autoshow” do I need to obsess over? I wanted the 18 Civic finally got it drove it a bit put it back. Same with the Caddy limo. They’re nice to have but not worth stressing. Can care less about Final Fantasy/Hot Wheel cars so why bother with them just so I can hoard them or have the honor of having limited availability. It’s a waste. When I decided to just play the game it became much more enjoyable. One thing, though, is the cool cars that are in the game that I don’t need to “figure out” how to get in a time-based manner… it would be nice if the challenges were made to reflect what the cars do. Why am I dirt racing in an XJ220 with incorrect info on it’s pedigree (had an engine from a rally car wasn’t group b rally…at all). Why are retro muscle cars being used in an off-road playground event? Everyone’s just gonna make their '87 Buicks and '95 Corvettes AWD which is hilarious in itself.
Do you know that the 911 PO is still going for ~$90 on eBay? If it wasn’t against TOS and tied to my gamertag I’d absolutely sell that. Talk about an artificial economy of insanity.
I thought I’d absolutely hate the playground games, but I rather enjoyed it. Of course, I’m sure it helped that I landed on a winning team, but it gave me an excuse to use my “Super Trooper” Crown Vic online, and it actually did quite well in rally/dirt spec.
