The weekly challenge’s 2nd step, winning 3 street races with the truck, didn’t progress for me on 3 different street tracks I tried. Am I the only one?

Ah thanks! That’s a translation error within the German version then.

I used the MB-24 for the trial as well, plenty fun. GreetedDust8’s RWD tune is quite fine to beat the AI but I couldn’t catch up with good players who used AWD Unimogs offroad :slight_smile:

Worked for me using the Coastal Charge Street Race. I freely admit I had to set difficulty to New Racer to Win it.

Erm, as far as i know, unless you play on high skilled+ difficulty it wont count.

But im not sure if things changed in this past year and now the events count even on beginner difficulties. Or maybe the restriction does not aply to this specific event?

You should check your progress again lol.

No George, it has never been that way for the Weekly Forzathon event. You can race that one on any difficulty you want. The Trial is automatically an unbeatable event and the Seasonal Championships are Highly Skilled and above. I don’t blame people for doing the weekly on New Racer as it’s a tad bit ridiculous to expect a Truck, with no handling, to beat cars in Street Races.

Hello everyone, again doing this from my bed - this time a dental surgery and a sleepless night … so not really into it, but here goes.

The trial and dirt racing with B 700 trucks, not much of a choice here really. I got 2x 2nd (lost to drivatar and player) and 1st, team 3:0
Mercedes Benz Unimog, tune - 132 046 075
or if feeling lucky Mercedes Benz Tankpool24 truck, tune - 133 409 255
Both work much better if using manual+clutch, but I still got above results in auto.

Next to solo championships and starting with some road racing, with S2 998 McLarens
McLaren Senna, tune - 462 648 595

Moving a bit slower street racing, with B 700 Nissns Skyline GT-R
Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R '71, tune - 311 319 123

Finishing with some more S1 900 road racing, but with a lil twist - front engine, RWD …
First two races were in rain, so TC on for me and a car … well there was this lonely Ferrari sitting in my garage just collecting dust, probably better options out there, but still won easily.

Just had a round of meds and painkillers and just had to try this with TC off, wow this car is made to be driven. There is occasional booty twitch, but that’s it, I love it :slight_smile:

PR stunts and used Koenigsegg Agera RS, tune - 167 849 655 for danger sign (no special approach needed, simply used the road), used McLaren Senna tune - 176 256 116 for speed zone and speed trap
Mosler MT900S, tune - 148 148 788, could also work for any of those.
Or Ferrari 599XX Evo, tune - 157 390 917, setup for tarmac.

Weekly forzathon car is a truck :slight_smile: Mercedes Benz Tankpool24, used same B 700 tune from trial - 133 409 255 for races and trading paint skills. Put all upgrades on, to 3 star Astmoor speed trap (being the easiest one).

The vehicle I won was the ‘Mercedes Benz 2018 X Class’ (silver utility van/truck), not the Peugeot 207 Super 2000.

I did think it was funny that the photo to the Playground Games shows an 2013 MB E63 but the prize is the G65.

I hope that when FH5 gets expansions they’ll put more emphasis on integrating them into the Forzathon or give more encouragement to return there even when you’ve finished the content. The autumn trial on Fortune Island is easily my favourite Forzathon event. Sadly there could be some more competition, often the grid isn’t full anyways and many players will drop out after a lap or two. Also, the unbeatable AI is way too weak. Still a great choice of tracks to check out those many modern super sports cars.
