The weekly forzathon challenge car is an autoshow car. I used the three in line ramps at the airstrip since they seem designed for kangaroo skills. With an A class tune you can use the AWD championship to cover most of the last challenge requirement. My “Cross Country” tune is shared, tested vs unbeatable.

What a surprise for the Trial this week…not. Rally Monsters are, put simply, absolutely crap in Cross Country races. You cannot even change tyre tread on most of them. Last race is a pain with the water spinning the car off into some part of the neverworld. 2 goes and did it with another racer in a Hoonigan RS200 whilst i was in a Peugeot 207S. Least favourite Trial ever and the idiot who came up with this Trial needs their head examined. Feel very sorry for those not experienced with these type of conditions. Good luck.

The Peugeot is surprisingly good. I just beat my rivals times set in the Capri (presumably from last time this trial came up) for both Ambleside and Windmill.

One of my favourite trials. I seem to be in the minority :joy:!

Question: do you think PG wants to force steam players to stop playing?
One of the first trials for steam players was “easter buggys” and now we have S1 CC rally monsters. I think there was 1 or 2 trials (can’t remember which one) between them, that wasn’t easy either. So at least 3 hard trials in short time. Not the best starting collection for new players. Now we are only missing S2 winter trial.

The Playground games is the worst because some people cheat with the catherman to go between two wagons and stay there and win if the other team doesn’t have the same car.

I hate rally monster CC and wish it was retro or classic muscle and saloons. Finally got my hi vis though as super 7 is fixed :raised_hands: I really don’t think PGG race their own events…

This week’s trial isn’t a new one, if i am not completely mistaken.

There were certainly two or three more trials, i wish will never come back. One example: S2, street scene, rainy conditions.

This series has much in common with series 22.

which cars are in backstage voting

Since more or less everything is a repeat of some older series, I’ll just repost more already used cars/tunes.
I didn’t do the trial yet, will probably do it at some point later (hoping to run it with less then 5 randoms). Also not in any rush, since I already got past 80% of season completion, without it.
Finished the trial now and its a mess … took 3 tries, need some liquid relaxation now …
Since its S1 900 rally monsters, I’ll stick to Hoonigans/Fords
Hoonigan Ford RS200, tune - 545 011 302, or updated tune - 121 261 303
or Hoonigan Ford Escort RS1800, tune - 151 786 541
or Ford Capri RS3100 FE, tune - 133 437 916
or Peugeot 207 S2000, tune - 171 915 708

Finished all solo content, so starting with some cross country racing with A 800 extreme offroad … plenty to choose from
Ford F-150 Prerunner DD, tune - 795 974 100
or Jeep Wrangler DD, tune - 756 246 482
or Top Gear Track-Tor, tune - 108 868 608
or Jeep Trailcat, tune - 877 210 367
or Bowler EXR-S, tune - 120 303 908
or AMG Transport Dynamics M12S Warthog, tune - 162 257 543

Next it was time to do some road racing with A 800 Jags
Jaguar XKR-S, tune - 131 766 346
or Jaguar F-Type Project 7, tune - 893 738 848
or SUV Jaguar F-Pace S, tune - 162 310 420

Finished with some dirt racing with C 600 retro hot hatches from 90’
Renault Clio Williams, tune - 154 252 207
or Honda Prelude SI, tune - 528 746 659

PR stunts and again nothing new here, so Koenigsegg Agera RS, tune - 167 849 655 for danger sign and speed trap, used Hoonigan Ford RS200, tune - 428 155 751 for speed zone.

To weekly Forzathon car - Mini X-Raid All 4 Racing Countryman, tuned to A 800, tune - 139 891 325. Not much to it, just had some fun at the beach and did few cross country races.

Weekly Super 7 reward is still working for me, and its some police uniform …

Finishing pic

Hope this is of any help to somebody, take care everyone and as always … have fun :), bb

Cheers! Thanks for the share code. Going to give this a try.

In other news, I had a random car thrown at me again today (this time when completing the Weekly Forzathon Challenge) I got a 512S. Is this a new feature I don’t know about? Earlier this week, it was a Ford Crown Vic.

UPDATE: Just finished the 3 stunts events for Autumn and got an Aventador '12 along with the Backstage pass for the Festival Playlist 50% completion…

UPDATE 2: Just got 82% for Autumn by doing the Showcase Remix (I really love the Halo one!) and got the Alien Morph suit (although I already had it) along with the Lexus IS F.

As this event has been done several times, I decided to go with different cars to add some variety…can’t remember tunes offhand but my go-to for Seasonals is usually Team Fung, sometimes UGrundy. Completed on Unbeatable unless otherwise stated.

Extreme Offroad X-Country: Decided to try the Ford Ranger T6 Rally Raid as never driven it before. Slow off the line (despite having 10s in Acceleration and Launch!) but fine once moving. Wasn’t an easy ride…lowered the difficulty down to Highly Skilled for Ambleside as wasn’t in the mood for that one…only won by half a second so just as well I did.

Jaguar A-Class: Thought I’d give the 1959 Jaguar MkII 3.8 a go…wasn’t expecting much from it but it did surprisingly well. Not the quickest in a straight line but is brutal in the corners resulting in 3 easy wins

90s Retro Hot Hatch: Went with the 1992 Volkswagen Golf Gti 16v Mk2. Fairly routine wins with this one…a solid car which performs well enough.

Trial: Attempted once using the Hoonigan Escort but we lost and the car was a little too unstable for my liking. May try again but not sure

Not getting today’s Daily Challenge 3 Great Air skills to trigger. Anyone else getting this or know of a workaround?

Gave my X1X a full system restart, retried the challenge, and completed it in a couple of minutes.

The X-Raid has never been a favorite in Extreme Offroad. Why would it be when the Trailcat is a thing that exists. But it’s at least usable. Though I think I’ve only ever used it for when this Forzathon gets recycled.

I manged to combo the last chapter with the AWD championship, then moved to the Fortune Island Offroad championship to finish it off. When I got to South Beach Circuit suddenly I basically lost all maneuverability. Does the X-Raid have a wet penalty that gives it completely unmanageable understeer in pouring rain or something?

The front diff has some deceleration locking on as a default. A lot of the understeer can be tuned out by changing the default diff and suspension settings with rally springs if you haven’t already done it. Otherwise like you said it’s not the trailcat.

I was in Fortune Island when the season changed which I think screwed up a few things: I completed the summer photo challenge but now it’s incomplete and expired. Also, I didn’t do the season events (races) yet but they are are marked as complete.

This game sure has a lot of problems…

I have the same, but its not a problem for me because i already have all cars. But if there was a new car in one off the events, i would´n be so happy with it. This is the second time i had this, the first time is more the a month ago, like usual, they dont solve anything in this game . . .
