Bug reminder: if you’re not seeing Festival Playlist events or have different events than listed above, you need to update your game. Rebooting will usually trigger the update. The current version is 1.439.839.2.

Another complete waste of tine Forzathon. Stop making so much busy work.

It’s not busy work if you have an entire week to do it. Even if you do one event a day it’ll only take 4 out of 7 days, even less because you can knock that out in an hour.

What do you want? 1) get in car 2) drive car 10mph 3) do a burnout 4) do a u-turn?

Your list must be messed up. I have WAY more than 4 events/things to do on mine.

What, are you talking about the dailies? Where you have to put forth 10 minutes per day to complete? Lol

Actually I only spend about 2 minutes to complete a daily. I wasn’t including them (maybe all 7 as 1 item). There are still more than 4 items to complete. Maybe you meant to say there are 4 single player race events? There are way more than 4 total things to do. If you literally did one a day you wouldn’t get 100% in a week.

Yeah, with the weekly you have 4 separate events. Get in car. Drag race car 4 times. Street race car 2 times. 500,000 skill points. All done I’m under 45 minutes, which included buying a new Vette and upgrading to top of S1.

The longest thing was the 4 drag races because of the load times. I usually keep the radio off, so it when I turn it back on the song after the current one is a skill song, making the last event a breeze because I just have to get 50,000.

I consider one chapter:one event.

Not needing to downgrade my cars and drive them a lot slower than they’re capable of would be a really good start imo, driving supercars(or any car) at 70mph just isn’t as much fun imo(and it’s definitely not fun offroad!), they should mix it up a bit and have more S1/S2/X events.
I understand that the devs are more interested in how many player hours they can clock up but they could at least make more of an effort to inject some fun into those hours!

.

Forzathons in FH4 have for the most part been buggy and excessively grindy.

One example is the current one: when first introduced (this is a repeat), ownership of either the Viper or the Corvette didn’t register. Mileage challenges require a certain speed to register. Progress in skill point challenges used to vanish (it was fixed long ago but lots of people complained).

Playground just doesn’t utilize their tools to the best they could. Why are we repeating Forzathons from last year when this game has hundreds and hundreds of cars? Why are we required to do multiple of certain skills instead of winning events or something?

I know people will do everything they can to cheese through events, but I don’t think it’s ok to fix broken game design with hurdles/annoyances for the player. Ultimately, the game is about having fun.

FH4 is a severely broken game when it comes to giving rewards (you can “sidestep” the game’s seasonal system easily and you can use easy blueprints to grind credits/completion), but these are things that should have been considered during development.

Also, since many cars are exclusives/rewards, Playground can’t just theme a Forzathon around them, because it could be that the car is difficult to obtain. If I want to use an exclusive, it must be done in a generic event like Sport Saloons.

Unfortunately, the only reason these events are a drag is because of engagement metrics. You need to squeeze a minimum out of each player. It’s a bad gaming trend we have today.

I wouldn’t mind seeing those community championships return; for a change of pace; I guess they’ve given up on those?

Sounds about right. lol I have no desire to spend all week long doing this. I would like to not have to load the same thing repeatedly 5 times. It took longer to load than do. They keep doing that over and over. It’s old and pointless. There should also be an opportunity to do the Forzathon out of order and complete some of the tasks while doing other events. It should not take much effort to do that. H3 let you do this, It was more fun to see how many Forzathon tasks could be done at the same time. The whole Forzathon took about 20-25 min, it took longer than anything else.

Anybody else not able to list their RC F on the Auction House? Just comes up with an error message saying “There was an error communicating with the server. Please try again later.”

You have to wait a day before you can auction newly released models.

Gotcha, thanks :+1:

All the sounds seem improved. Every car I tried was BASS.

Time for next round …
So trial with C class classic rally cars … its the return of Mr. Bean in style, 3x win and 3:0 for team. Its not the fastest but with vintage tires, has some grip. Dis battle it ut on second race with Volvo, but yeah, good clean racing tho.
C 600 Mini Cooper S, tune - 698 116 404

Moving on to solo championship and it was road racing in A class sport utility heroes, didn’t really feel like doing much, so just picked my Jag
A 800 Jaguar F-Pace, tune - 162 310 420

Next in line was again road racing in A class classic racers, where I also didn’t feel like doing much, since I already have my Daytona ready
A 800 Shelby Daytona, tune - 608 196 288

and finally to dirt racing in A class super saloons, again its return of already proven car . BMW
A 800 BMW 1 series M coupe, tune -103 264 539

Now to forzathon car and I picked Corvette Z06, tuned it to S1 class, tune - 141 102 823, went out to win some drag races, then some street races and finally went crazy on the beach for those skill points.

PR stunts as always done in offroad tuned Agera RS, tune - 167 849 655 for speed trap and danger sign, used Hoonigan RS200, tune - 428 155 751 for offroad speed zone.

and a pic to finish it all

Hope this can be of any help to someone, take care everyone and have fun, bb

Edit
Few alternatives, can’t leave my beloved car maker out, so:
A800 super saloon - Alfa Romeo Giulia, tune - 129 973 624
A800 classic racer - Alfa Romeo TZ2, tune - 833 837 923
A800 sport utility heroes - Alfa Romeo Stelvio, tune - 160 883 305
Also new Land Rover Range Rover Velar, tune - 164 824 193
I’m also tempted to give a try to an electric SUV Jag, but I have a feeling it won’t go exactly well, lol
But anyway, Jag I-Pace, tune - 173 658 852
and when it comes time to help with PGG, I’ll use MB Unimog, tune -132 046 075

I thought I’d try a car I haven’t tuned before for the Trial, so gave the '73 Renault A110 a try. It did pretty well in the Trial, so I tried it for the Derwent Reservoir Trail rivals, and got 14th on the leaderboard. It looks from the leaderboard like the Talbot Sunbeam might be the fastest car, but I wasn’t all that far behind in the A110. I shared the tune.

For the Trial overall I think a FWD bodykit Offroad tires Mini is the fastest choice closely followed by a FWD Offroad tires Fulvia for which I shared a build. Only on Reservoir they suffer due to the low amount of power and due to the track being mainly tarmac. With the Fulvia I clocked times ~ 2 seconds slower than your A110. Managed to improve your time with my RWD Stratos but the Talbot as RWD with the V-TEC swap should be the king.
