Hello, how do I get this car? I haven’t seen it in game. I have the ultimate edition, I bought it from the Xbox live store.
It was a pre-order car for certain stores, I’m not sure which ones though.
It was the pre-order bonus for the Microsoft Store. Not Xbox Live… “Microsoft Store.”
I actually ordered from there, physical copy, and haven’t gotten the code yet. I will be calling tomorrow.
You would have needed to pre-order from a Microsoft Store to get the code.
If you really want it THAT bad, I have already seen the BMW pop up on eBay for $21. O.o
Has anyone who preordered from Microsoft Store received a code for one yet? I preordered mine a while ago and now that the game’s out I haven’t received anything regarding the car. The DLC list here shows it, and even major nelson covered it here so I know I’m not going crazy. I’d just like to hear what experiences others are having, hopefully I’m not the only one.

I HAVE NOT received my code via email. It was not in the product packaging. I spent an hour in chat with MS Store personnel who didn’t know anything about it. Finally I reached a supervisor who did. I was informed that it could be up to ten days to get the Avant code, just like the $10 MS store code. This seems unreasonable IMHO. I’m frustrated with the whole thing now.
Yeah, we are all in the same boat. I am not sure why they have to wait so long. I have seen the car being driven by a drivitar. I just don’t get why it has taken so long. Amazon emails them the same day the game arrives and gamestop can print them out the same day. I am not sure why microsoft has such a delay. But this will be my final game I order from microsoft directly.
I pre-ordered at Microsoftstore.com and the package arrived today. I had an online chat with customer service to ask about the code and was told that it should arrive by email “within 10 days of purchase.”
Nice, thank you for the reply. I’ve never preordered a game from Microsoft Store that came with a ‘bonus’ so I guess it operates the same way that the $10 code promotions do; being delivered within 10 days of shipping. I wish I could have more easily accessed that information somewhere.
I also had a chat with someone from Microsoft and yes, the pre-order car and the $10 will arrive by e-mail within 10 days which means we must wait even longer for our wagon and the money to buy the VIP pass (for me at least anyway).

Same issue when I asked. I am still waiting. I don’t understand how it takes 10 days when gamestop and amazon both send them out the day of. This will probably be the last time I order a physical game directly from microsoft.
First: I have spent many hours in the Forza Horizon 1 world driving around with an Audi RS4 Avant. I love this car and the game. I was excited about Forza Horizon 2, played the demo on Xbox One, loved it and preordered the digital ultimate editon of Forza Horizon 2. And for sure the game is pure fun!
After driving some minutes in Forza Horizon 2 on the Xbox One i wanted to buy “my” beloved car, the Audi RS4 Avant. I have already seen some drivatars in the game cruising with this Audi. So i went to the ingame store, searched for the Audi and i can’t find the car. So where was it? I used Google to find out what the “problem” is and now that thing is confusing me:

I don’t even know which store in Germany gave away this car by PreOrder? Amazon, Gamestop? I don’t know. But it’s frustrating. I have bought the ultimate edition and now i can’t drive my beloved car? Why? And people who bought the 360 version can drive it? It’s unfair. So please Turn10 make this car available for the public. Maybe as a Gift or in a competition or something else. Thanks!

You got it with the pre-order from Amazon.de. They also gave you the BMW and the Lamborghini 
I do believe you have been around long enough to know how it works… specific preorder cars are to be enjoyed for those who bought that specific preorder. Then, in a month or so they’re going to be released as a DLC pack. There are over 200 cars in Horizon 2, so for time being, pick another car… or start playing the game when they release your Audi as DLC. That’s just the way it is and it always is unfair no matter what cars they choose as special preorder cars, someone will be sad. If they give no preorder cars at all (which is the case for us 360 users) people are even more sad.
It’s a choice that was made… the XO has cars 360 users want… the 360 has cars XO users wants. That’s what you get when they decide to build 2 seperate games and we can’t do anything about it. I would happily trade my 360 Audi RS4 Avant for some of your XO only cars!

Has anyone who preordered the game from Microsoft Store online received the Audi RS4 Avant unlock code that was noted on majornelson.com?
I have NOT received my code to unlock it and it seems like I should have by now.
i’m just miffed that I spent money on the most expensive version of the game (the ultimate edition) and didn’t get the opportunity to get any of the preorder bonus cars. Really wanted that Audi.
the ultimate edition was just a bundle of the game, the vip and the season pass with no cash savings. I have every Forza CE they have offered including the Paddock Edition which had no game. But I wanted a preorder bonus so I bought everything separately. I do also agree that they hosed the people who got the digital copy, they should have gotten the same preorder bonus as the people who preordered through the Microsoft store. Till they start making it worth my time to get a digital copy, I will continue to buy the disk version of the game.
