Audi RS4 Avant

pre-ordered the game at Futureshop and got the code three days after

Well, there is until October 9th to get the Audi code and the $10, I hope it comes sooner rather than later. I’m just holding out now, waiting to see what comes first - the pre-order bonus or the Forza Rewards.

No, I chatted with Microsoft again today and the lady seemed shocked that I was asking, again, and that I had an issue waiting 10 days. I told her that seeing how Microsoft distributes the codes to every retailer and they hand them out with purchase, either on the receipt, in the box, or by e-mail, and even Amazon who says “may take up to 3 days” does it usually within 24 hours, I find it strange that Microsoft themselves need over a week. She told me that, “well, we have until midnight tomorrow night, so you’ll just have to wait.”

I asked if I didn’t get the code what to do and was told I’d have to contact them and open a case which could take another week. What’s surprising is, I used the e-mail transcript option from within the chat, and she promised to e-mail me an update with my case number and code status and I have yet to receive either e-mail. Boy, I wanted the RS4 pretty bad, but I must say, never before have I bought anything from the Microsoft Store online, and NEVER AGAIN.

Gamestop got the wrong codes, and had I kept my original pre-order I would have had a choice between the Rs4, the Lambo, or both. Pity.

On the physical copies of FH2 the code for the RS4 Avant is in the form of a sticker on the outside of the box, you just remove the peel off top layer to reveal the code.

Relieved but frustrated that that others too haven’t received the $10 credit yet. This is a bit silly – neither code arrived for me either. Please post updates if yours arrive.

I have a code for the RS4 haha tesco sent me a code by email, but also got a code behind a sticker on the box

where is the sticker on the box people are talking about? I saw no sticker before I opened the wrapping and nothing under it.

I didn’t see a sticker either on the wrapping or under it. Still no code. Maybe they meant ten business days and not calendar days. Will contact support next Tuesday, two weeks after launch. I already wasted hours arguing with them the first week it was out.

BTW, I wanted to return it since I didn’t get the code and was told they don’t accept returns.

I wanted the Lambo but I couldn’t find anywhere in the UK to get it so I have a code for the Ferrari which I have not used yet :s

I also have not received the Audi or $10 XBL Code. I pre-ordered the physical disc from microsoftstore.com

I have not received either today. I have contacted the Microsoft Store person whom I spoke with earlier, and am expecting a call from their “corporate supervisor” today to resolve the issue. Currently I am in the process of receiving a partial refund for my purchase (Sorry Turn10) because Microsoft has failed to deliver the advertised product in the timeframe they specified.

Received the $10 xbox live code an hour ago. Still no sign of the Avant code

Same here. Step in the right direction atleast.

Glad I’m not the only one without the Audi. I was getting a little worried. Not that I want everyone else to be deprived of the Audi either…

EDIT 1
Wow support is awful… they first told me that my issue was resolved when I said that I had received the $10 codes. Then told me that I would have to purchase the Audi with said $10 codes. When I explained that I can’t purchase it, because it was an exclusive, they told me that no such offer ever existed. I can see this is going to be a bigger issue than it needs to be…

EDIT 2
Now I’ve been told Larry Hryb isn’t officially related with microsoft. Wow… wow. You guys were way luckier with support than I seem to be.

I just got off with support myself and was told I’ll receive the content code with ten days of receiving the game. Has anyone else gotten this response?

Yes, because that’s how their content delivery system works. It doesn’t matter what kind of code it is, 10 days is the window of wait time to receive it. The problem we’re having is that it’s been 10 days today. Wait for tomorrow, call back, ask for a ticket escalation or something like that (I did). Don’t give in!

I got the gift card for $10 today. 2 days later than advertised. No Audi code yet, but chatting on support now, seems they’re going to have to call me for some reason. Microsoft really needs to get their game together because this has so far been an experience full of false advertising, misleading information, and honestly some pretty unknowledgable and rude customer support. I’m shocked because Microsoft usually has pretty good support.

Either way, never making another purchase from the Microsoft Store online, that’s for sure.

This is how I feel so far as well. I can understand a CSR who tells me that they can’t see something. I can’t understand a CSR who tells me that I don’t have an issue, and they won’t look into it. Terrible experience and I would have loved to give them feedback on it but the usual feedback window never came up for some reason.

The first chat I e-mailed myself a transcript and it still hasn’t arrived in my e-mail - it’s been 5 days. The lady just apologized that I haven’t received the Audi code, said she doesn’t know if I’ll be able to get one, and offered me a refund of unknown value. I told her it wasn’t ok. She’s attempting to figure it out now.

I’ve also PM’d Helios earlier today, but I don’t think he’ll see it until tomorrow.

EDIT: Now she’s having me clear the cache of my Xbox and my cloud because I didn’t get an e-mail with the code - although my e-mail and the xbox cloud have nothing to do with each other. ? :S

EDIT 2: She just quit the chat on me - unbelievable, I won’t post her name here, but that’s just plain rude.
