Everytime I see an auction pop up I immediately but it out… but it’s already bought out every darn time?? This game has so much potential… too bad it’s wasted… frustrating things like this and tons of cheaters in everything game wide has me playing less and less

look at all the cheated cars on there …
the cheaters are running the game and they are having fun while the normal players are being frustrated into quitting!

It is lame Servers, overloaded, insufficient network bandwith and / or bad coding on Game provider side. Nothing else.
Prices do not update in due time often enough. U see old prices for a minute, unable to bid (it fails mostly due to that).
result:
Guy selling cars is losing money - as not all bidders can increase bid.
Guy buying car - cannot buy car, cuz bid fails.
Result: inefficient auction, frustration for everyone, unfair prices, often more gambling than bidding.

How long does it take to load the auction? For me the load between “cars auctioned” and picked auction takes around 5 seconds (on PC) + some time on clicking bid/buyout.
Bear in mind the list is sorted by soonest ending first.
If you want a better chance at buyouts, scroll down until you find auctions that are 10-20 minutes away from ending.

Keep in mind a lot of Autoshow prices are way lower than auction buyouts. In FH4, I almost never bought from the Autoshow. In FH5, I mostly buy from the Autoshow.
you cannot buy all cars from the autoshow, many are not listed there. Some cars sell for 15 Million in the Autoshow, but Auction price is 500k (even buyout) - because supply is high and demand is low.
However, the actual supposed to be “fun” part of having Auctions is mostly broken, as missing price updates lead to bidding errors / failures.
Yes, we can’t buy everything from the Autoshow. But it makes way more sense on FH5 to buy a lot of vehicles there versus an auction buyout.
I agree that auctions are broken. It’s mostly the same auction problems as FH4.
I have 75% of cars. Only very few I bought via Autoshow or auction (in order to complete a collection) - 98% Wheelspins.
Buying cars is pointless anyways… too many to tune and drive them all. (Especially tuned each for all classes / type of races)

Still broken, still no communication if / when it will be fixed.
Auction House can only be seen as 2 things:

Gambling hall in favor of the ones close to FH5 Server / Data centers (Missing PRICE UPDATES - NO FAIR PRICES FOR SELLER / BUYER - (seller sells too cheap, buyers can mostly NOT place a bid towards end of acution)

Autoshow with variable prices you can chose to immediatelly buy (ANY attempt to make a bid will mostly fail due to reason statet in 1) )
What it is NOT: a functioning “Auction” where buyers and seller can bid until a fair price has been found for everybody
Just get rid of it. Make it a simple buy / sell marketplace like Amazon. No difference, but less frustration.
