it is very slow and most of the time doesn’t alert you to anything, can’t bid ect I noticed this for paints and tunes, lots of errors. I REALLY hope they get that handled before the mass of people comes in, servers are gonna get hammered otherwise
has no one here bought a bunch of stuff and had this happen. i’m almost sure the auction house is blocking me from buying any more. i can sell things. browse like normal. watch other people bidding and buying. but i can’t bid or buy anything

I’m having a similar issue but with selling cars, its rather annoying as i have quite a few unwanted cars.
I’m having the same problem. It says “You have reached the maximum number of auctions for this time period. Please try again later.” What is the time period? 24 hours?

I have sold around 10 cars today and now when I try to sell something it gives me a message saying “You have reached the maximum number of auctions for this time period. Please try again later.” How long is the time period?
someone said they actually got a message saying they reached the limit. it would be nice if we could get a confirmation from Turn10 or Playground Games what the exact limit is. if this is gonna be the standard or if it’s only during the Early release period. because i bought 10 cars on the auction house today. kinda silly to limit me on what i can purchase from there if you ask me.

Whats so special about the auction house? I see cars that can be bought in game in the auction house and I’m wondering whats the real purpose of it. Is it for people that dont want to find cars themselves? Or can people buy multiples of the same car and have them tweaked differently? Can someone explain why it might be worth it to use it? Because I feel that if someone spent the time grinding enough money to afford these cars then they could just get it in game…
It’s a way to get rid of old cars for money and buy cars for less money.
I also use it to buy people’s unwanted barn finds so I can have more than one of each.
And eventually you can use it to find high quality work created by super talented sellers.
I’m already planning on listing tunes in the storefront and flipping cheap cars (if I can find them for that car) with good tunes on them.
And it’s addictive…

Some of the cars are a one time thing. You get one, and can’t buy more of them. So in the Auction House you can buy the cars that you can’t on the autoshow.
Ok so how much of one car can we own?
So far I haven’t found a limit. The max I have is 4 of one of them, so I don’t think we really have a limit.
I used to hate the auction house because I’d find cars with great designs and every single time I’d get sniped at the last second, or there would be a great design and the designer would think it was worth 1m+. Its why I liked the change to designs being free to use and the designer being paid when it was used. So while I wasn’t happy to see the return of the AH originally I am glad to know that T10 and Playground have fixed the old issues and put a cap on the number of cars you can buy and a cap on the price. It should stop all the greed and frustration from the older games so I’m very happy.
I’m locked out of buying cars too. I bought a lot of the barn finds (yes, I have 3 FJs, no I regret nothing), and some HE cars. Now I can’t buy anything like you guys.
When i auction a car is telling you have reached the maximum number of auctions for this time period. Someone knows how time have to pass ?
