I’ve been trying to bid on a 69’ Fairlady Z but every time I get close to winning someone comes in and just chooses the buy out option. I really don’t see the point in the auctions if someone can just buy the car out from everyone else, especially since CR in Forza are not real money.
even try to buy out a car that just appear on AH, it seems impossibile to get that car ( toyota trueno ), all the time it say " auction is close "… maybe pc users have some " trick " to get it faster to buy out…
i tend to think that most buyout players are just trolly cheaters who have to much CR and can get CR with their little cheat trainers any time they want
check your internet speed!
if your are not in one of the top tiered internet speeds then you will most likely not win against someone who has an internet speed that is a couple hundred Mbps faster or even double the Mbps of what you have
internet speed plays a huge role in the auction house bidding and buyout and people do not realize this
also, if your playing over wifi i suggest going wired
For me, I almost always just use the buyout function…can’t be bothered trying to bid then check to see if I’ve been outbid, bid again, check again ad infinitum. If I want to go through that aggravation, I’ll go bid on something real on a proper website etc. I will occasionally bid on cars but that’s rare…much prefer to spend my time doing racing and whatnot
100mb fiber with 2ms latency, so no, is not a problem of " internet speed ", is that the same " bot " buy automatically the cars from the AH, plus there is no refresh button on the AH…

you can think its a bot if you want … i dont think it is and searching the internet only comes up with accusations and no real proof of bots … unlike searching for a trainer cheat
i dont have any issue with bids and winning cars … i must be a bot then
When i bid on a car, i get a successful bid. then 1 sec later someone bout the car with the buyout price.
So… if you’re selling a car in real life and two people walk up to you. One offers you half of your asking price, the other offers you the full amount. Do you wait to see if there are more lowball offers?
I don’t see the problem here.
but if you try the full ammount hundreds of times that the car appear, in the instant moment that appear and ALL the time it say " auction closed " and always the same have buy it… maybe, maybe, there is some bot doing the check of appearing on the ah and AUTOMATICALLY get the buy out full on it, without waiting the loading screen…
They should probably have an option for no buyout, and none stop bidding until the timer ends + 10 minutes random time added to the final bidding. So you never know when the bidding will end.
The buyout is a legitimate and good option, but I sense the button placement (as in previous FH) causes a good few accidental buyouts
But the auction system is flawed, no refresh and the ending soon, i have timed to be anywhere up to 1.5 minutes long.
I probably win around 10% of the time, mostly losing to auction closing while getting bid cant be placed messages,
Sometimes someone happens to time the last bid to perfection.
I think there are some exploits for PC users, probably through refreshing, but couldn’t say for sure.
TBH its strange, some people pay over what they can buy the car for from showroom, for a stock car. AH best avoided TBH unless you are after something not available from showroom.

It happened to me last night, it so happens that i bid in the last seconds before timer finished. Insta win. It seems that 1 min counter doesnt work correct sometimes.
Most of the time , to me it happens in reverse. I want to bid but the auction is already fnished. It seems you need to count the seconds of that minute and bid in the last seconds. So timing issues it seems
why are the stock car buyout prices always 10/15% more then what the cars cost to buy , makes no sense

What i want to understand why some ones buyouts someone elses(bid) car when they are plenty of cheaper cars just one line below and no bid on them? Just to make your life harder in AH i recon.
If I do a buyout on a bone stock car 1. The buyout needs to be LESS than the price in Autoshow 2. I look for one that someone hasn’t bid on already. That’s just me tho.
It sells instantly because there are tons of players are watching the auctions for that vehicle only. As soon as vehicle shows up, they buy it out. If you bid instead of buying out, you lose.
