So been playing horizon a little bit and trying to buy a few cars but cannot. 599xx evolution is the main one every time an auction comes up I go to buy out as fast as you can and never can get one. Spent hours and nothing. Auction always closed before I get it. My buddy told me people are using macros and scripts because we are cross platform with pc and there is no way for us to get them. They are bought instantly. So how many of you cheat to get your special cars? And I guess turn 10 allows it and doesn’t care about the Xbox player anymore 
When you buyout a car are you going into the auction and then pressing buyout? If so you’re doing it wrong and the auction will be closed. When you see the car come up in auction Press Y, Down, A, A. This will buy it out from the search menu and not inside the actual auction. I used to go in the auction to buy out and it would always be sold. Buying from the search menu helps a ton and got me any car I want.
On PC you can search a car every 1-2 seconds if you’re fast enough “A, A, Y, B… A, A, Y, B… Repeat”… For Xbox i’ve heard its a bit slower though and can get less searches per minute but can still win using the above way.
Well I used the search and failed both ways. And tried just now with your way and got after 10 tries or so!! Still not easy but possible now thanks!!

Aye! Glad you got one! Being on xbox it will be harder but can be done as you can see now. Sometimes i’ll miss multiple of a car i’m searching for if a lot of people are searching (Mclaren speedtail for ex when it was released) but eventually i’ll get one.

Actually I don’t know if I’m just lucky right now, but in the beginning I never won as last bit (Right now I won 4 in a row, only playing since yesterday tho xD) → The moment it switches from 1minute to “Ending Soon” I start a timer on my Phone, I go back out of the Item that is on Sale and wait till like 40ish seconds, go in - go back out, go in over my bids (so I would recommend to have it under “my bids” cause its way to hard to get back to the Car cuz of loading times. (even on my monster Pc, cause it has to load the Cars in the marketplace first)
- and well I try to place my bid around 50ish maybe 52-53ish seconds, cause I noticed that the change from “1minute” to “Ending Soon” has a few seconds delay, if my guess is right, it should switch from 1minute to Ending soon at 59sec + Server Sync time = trying to do the last bit at 55 was always to late for me till now, and even tho I’m on PC - for the last bid I always use an controller cause I only have to press A 2x to confirm the bid, on Pc its either double Enter or 2 Mouse clicks that are quite a distance away from each other so yeh.
I searched over and over for the new Corvette Stingray and pressed Y, down, A, A as fast as humanly possible for a couple of hours on Friday, most of the day Saturday, and a couple of hours Sunday. I took a screenshot every time I lost (which ended up being 57 times) so I could see who was winning the auctions. When I saw the same gamertag more than once I would look at their gamercard to see if they were playing on a PC. Everyone that won multiple auctions was.
I guess people playing on PC’s have a huge advantage in the auction house and it seems like the developers are okay with. It would be nice if they would put a limit on the number of the same car you can buy in a certain amount of time (like they limit you to only 25 cars sold per day). If you buyout an auction and 2-3 minutes later you buyout an auction for the same car - you’re just hoarding. They should make you wait for an hour or so to allow people on the disadvantaged Xbox to limp in and buy one.
For now, you just have to repeatedly fail until eventually you don’t - 58th tries they charm!!
