Ok so I had to bring this up cause it just bothers me. An yes I get it’s part of the game blah blah blah. My issue is when there is like 50 other cars that you can buy out, but instead decide to screw over your fellow players who are trying to win the car for a lower price that is just cold. Like literally you could of bought annnnny other one but nooooo ya screw your fellow players over for no reason other then that ya just wanted to screw people over.
They are also up against your bids, so they think you are doing it to them… lol.
do you think you are the only one wanting certain cars
they dont just bid to screw you over
they would just rather buyout than bid and since credits are already so easy they do just buyout
No, he means that if there are loads of cars without any bids, for the same buyout price, people are still buying out the one which has bids. I avoid doing that because it’s fairly obviously bad form.

Yeah I just realised what he means… I buy the cars further down the list.
I get that this can be annoying but it’s also bad on the other side when auctions get sniped.
I have a love/hate relationship with the AH sometimes you can get some great rares it’s just being in the right place at the right time.
I generally focus on the car I really want and then work out if it’s worth having a bidding war or just buying out.
Maybe that’s me but I don’t use the AH to sell really just add to my collection.
I also try to buy ones with a low start price, to reward the sellers who aren’t as greedy as those who set high minimums
(ie. if there’s one with a 1m start and 10m buyout, and one with 10m min and buyout, I’ll buy the former.)

Yeah, that’s the bad way though for people who have to bid with low money.
Hmm you’re right, I never thought of that Still there are usually plenty of others. Maybe I shouldn’t do that with rare cars. The very rarest and in demand sell quickly regardless of price though.

Rule No1: Have enough money to buyout.
Rule No1.a: Always buyout.
Rule No1.b: Be quick, real quick and you might have a good chance
Anything different is just playing russian roulette with a fully loaded weapon. :D. Wasted time 90% percent of the time.
yes when you make a auction there should be two options
with a buy out
with out a buy out
and you go to auctions and can select to search for both or just one

Yes like Ebay. Although you may get some double accounts making money out of it.

I imagine the “sales tax” negates this.
Player sells Car on Account B to Account A for 20,000,000Cr, Account B only gets 18,000,000Cr(ish). Account A sells it back to Account B at 20,000,000, only gaining 18,000,000Cr(ish), on top of the initial 20,000,000 to obtain Car Account B would actually be -2,000,000 at that point. That would make it impossible for Account B to continue the pattern as they would be losing money if just working on a strict 20,000,000 starting amount.
I could be wrong, this line of thinking isn’t my forte. There could be an unknown variable I’m missing.
Obviously there could be “sell cheap car for a lot”. But, god that’s just so much work for a game that rains Cr.

That’s assuming Without a Buyout has a limit of 20,000,000. The auction limit is higher than 20,000,000. A limit of 20,000,000 means that you can still sort of Buy Out the car.

Wait you can bid more than 20,000,000?

The search I think goes up to something like 60,000,000. I was basing off what was programmed as a possibility.

Yeah, I’ve seen that you can search up to 20,000,000+, I wonder if it’s been done however.

Well anyway, what I mean is that a bidding limit is the same as a buyout, so the plan not to have a buyout would also mean not to have a limit. Else As soon as you bid 20,000,000 you win.
you cant sell for more than 20 mill in fh4
unless you are dodgy and sue donor cars
that limit must be a left over from a previous game
