Dale Earnhardt #3 Wrangler
I’m not going to say that I won’t take on this project, but with more and more 2015 paint schemes being released, we’ll just have to see when I might be able to find time to look into it. I have never had any plans to create a Dale Sr paint scheme (since I’ve never had an interest in him as a driver) but I’ll leave the possibilities of making this livery open for now. After all, he IS sporting the colours of the Swedish flag here… 
Probably one of the nicest liveries ever made, in my opinion. It looked especially cool when Jr. ran it in that one Nationwide race a few years back (though it was a little different from the original).
How about I paypal you $10 to bump this up your to do list? Hahaha
Nah. I prefer to remain an amateur designer. 
If I started to charge for my designs, it would soon take away the fun factor. If I won’t do it for fun, I might as well not do it at all.
With me working 40 hours per week, I just can’t make as many designs per week during my spare time as I could while I was unemployed.
Dang, a money offer? I think that’s the biggest confirmation of quality a painter can get!
Have you ever considered trying to make a club of NASCAR painters? I know you can’t gift decals any more so collaborations would be next to impossible, but I think it may help you to cover more drivers and liveries if you had other people working on the paints as well.
We still have spreadsheets. It wouldn’t be impossible, simply extremely hard to cooperate and exchange decals and vinyl groups, designs, etc.
I’d love to give the Wrangler livery a go too, but I’m already wrapped up in a couple (or rather, a dozen) projects, and finals are approaching, so I’m on a timecrunch to finish at least some of them already. Well, I guess I’ll be a downloader, then. ; )
Maybe if my goal was to create as many drivers’ liveries as possible. However, it’s not. My goal is to create the liveries I find nice and potentially challenging for the drivers I like.

lol I don’t see it as rude, but rather as a desperate hope to see the livery he’s DYING to see on the Monte Carlo.
Not sure how I was rude. I said it looks pretty good. I didn’t ask him to make it then bash it. I simply stated I wanted the other one.
Truth be told if he puts his livery on the Chevy SS (which imo closer resembles the car Jr ran) I’d download it. As for the Monte Carlo I was looking for the old school Dale Sr. liverly that I posted a picture of.
That’s cool. I’m still enjoying working on my version. The old school decals are numerous but look fairly simple to duplicate. You should keep at it. Good Luck!
Good stuff. Then you’ll make Mike happy and save me from creating 30+ sponsor vinyls that I’d probably never use again. Two birds with one stone!
Here’s my WIP on it so far. Think I’m giving up though. Going to take me ages to do it lol.

If no one ends up recreating the Dale Sr #3 car you’re looking for, I might eventually give it a shot. You’re off to a good start though! It doesn’t matter who ends up making it, it’ll take ages regardless! lol
