Won’t let me join any friends online says servers are not online but shows I’m in the convoys but not the leaders session, can’t access club rivals and market place. Seems to have started once the update come out again any help please
anyone know what is up? Are they down for everyone? I see other people online when I go to the map, but the summer forzathon is greyed out and says not available
If you’re having this issue, it’s because you haven’t downloaded the most recent update.
Go to Manage Game & Add Ons > Updates > Should be here
so a forzathon event is about to take place and I am there, but it’s still saying the forza horizon 4 servers are down…I don’t get it, will I even get credit for these events?
Sounds like you have a connection issue.
Can confirm, my friend is having the same issue. Most online features appear locked.
UPDATE: Turns out I may have found the issue. Make sure your game is running the current version of the game (1.203.506.0). Your game version number should be located on the bottom left of your main menu screen. Hope this helps.

If you’re on Xbox, go to your games & apps and tab up to updates. Should be sat there waiting to download for you if not already updated.
Wait till it’s fully downloaded before loading up FH4 (always a good idea when updating).

Had the same problem here. Was hoping it would solve itself.
Turned out my xbox didn’t update the game automaticly. I had too start the update myself and now its fine

My server is supposedly having problems too. My convoys work fine but I can’t upload/share any tunes.
This was my issue I didn’t get the auto update so did a manual one and it’s doing the 2.48gb update now
Why am I the only person who seems to have an issue with not being able to connect to the servers? All of the auction, livery, multiplayer etc, are not available due to the issue. I don’t have this issue with any other game, only FH4.
Assuming you are on Xbox have you hard reset your Xbox and modem/router? That’s usually the 1st thing I do whenever I have any connectivity issues. I also have my Xbox set to power save mode instead of instant on. I know you said that you aren’t having any issues with other games but the things I mentioned may be worth trying.
I’m unable to.go to auction house and forzathon shop but am online with other players in my world. So I’m having same issue I guess. Also cant join team adventure, but my xbox live seems to be working fine.
after the sumer update i have te same but i can go in a online room but!,

I found this out the hard way last night, and as RetroKrystal has just confirmed it was due to being on the old version, not updated.
It still lets you play, see other players in your session, even participate in Forzathon Live events, but several of the tabs are greyed out. Also the seasonal event cycle the previous month challenges rather than switching to the new ones, so it actually gives you another opportunity to complete the first Summer challenges if you had missed them.
I quit to dash, downloaded the update (~2GB), launched the game and all menus were back to how they should be with all parts accessible.
OMG…and i was wondering why iam not able to start the route creator… 
Still running the old version…
This never happened in the past.
Currently there is an issue making everyone manually update the game.
