First off, I am glad you are enjoying this season. However, as someone who has put in countless hours in each and every Horizon game (including the F&F), I was not aware that the Horizon series games were supposed to be purely a racing game, and in particular a MS racing game. Up to this point I really haven’t seen a whole lot of difference between the games in terms of scope and focus. For me Horizon 5 has been ever much a racing game as the ealier editions. I am probably the odd man out, but I really don’t have any use for the cars that have been added for this season (aka, racing cars). But again, I am happy for everyone that is enjoying this season and these cars.
I should probably add that I did complete 100% of the events in Season 1 of this series, so I am not ignoring this season by any means. I just prefer doing the stunts and the road/street type races.

Horizon has been always off track since 2012. It’s wasting it’s potential to be the greatest open world motorsport game…it can be a equivalent to a proper rally ,motorsport, offroad(dakar) ,formula drift n a drag racing game with proper cars specially built for those purposes all in an open vast world which no game can offer to it’s players rather than just only having these all casual road cars with silly stunts n street races…
I’m getting ur feeling cause i also feel the same way when in every update more n more road cars get added…they’re also of no use to me as well…just some useless pieces of metal.
I suppose the appeal for me is that the race cars are the closet we’ll get to new body kits and Forza aero for the road counterparts, especially with how strict Forza has become with customization in recent years. Plus some road cars like the Cadillacs and Mitsubishi Evos don’t have any track variant, and they’re better suited for A class rather than for S1 or S2, which is where the ATS-V.R and Time Attack Evo come in. Kind of reminds me of The Crew 2 tbh with the touring car variants of most road cars
That said I do feel for people who are losing their patience waiting for their favorite cars to be added. The series after this is Retrowave themed so there’s no chance for top voted cars like Gemera, Bolide, MC20, or GR Yaris to be in that update either.

Agreed. I’m more a fan of road cars (and track day cars available for consumers), so I was pretty disappointed by this update’s announcement. Not to mention, on a personal note, it’s definitely not a good month for me when my car wish list grows instead of getting smaller for an entire month.
Plus, all these race cars being added hasn’t really felt that special anyways. It’s pretty much just business as usual, which is beyond stale at this point. I sincerely hope the developers do something more with the playlist in Horizon 6, because the changes they made in Horizon 5’s playlist structure just weren’t enough. We’ve all been doing the same thing since around early 2019. A whole half-decade.

Been digging the event labs these past 2 series.
Love the race tracks. I’d like to see more people doing them and the championships Coop not sure if most know you can it’s usually very nice, better mood than the trial.
PGG should maybe add doing a coop weekly championship or eventlab as daily task.

I am not a big fan of the Event Lab race tracks. That one last week where it was very dark and it was hard to see a couple of the turns much in advance I found to be especially troublesome. I usually only do these for the quick weekly points as they are usually quick events and not all that hard. I much prefer the street, road, and off road races.
I agree that they gave gotten better at selecting eventlab tracks for the playlist and have enjoyed them lately.

Try turning at least the brake racing line aid.
