FH5 “follow creator” via Creative Hub is broken. Can’t follow/unfollow. If you change follow status, it doesn’t save. I opened a ticket, but this is a GLOBAL issue that needs higher priority.
This issue exists in FH4 as well. FM too maybe?

I can’t follow or unfollowed creators in forza horizon 5.
It won’t record new creators I want to follow and it won’t record unfollowed creators.

They closed my ticket saying “we know it’s not resolved and we gave it to the devs, but we’re closing your ticket as resolved”.

This says so much about the level of importance they place on such issues & how concerned they are about actually resolving them based on what they consider worthwhile. The amount of time those of us spend in the creative section of the game to share community content is clearly not a high priority.

Bug Info: In-game followed players cannot be removed and can’t add new follow players.
Platform: Windows PC - Xbox client
Edition: Premium, Add-Ons
Account: Solo account
Xbox Settings: None specificed.
Attempted fixes: Rebooted and change interface language couldn’t fix.
Content Update: Issues appeared since last month (Series 30 update).
Hey PGG - very serious and knowledgeable player here, you probably know me. I cannot stress to you how fundamentally broken your game is without this feature. Totally inexcusable in this “community” based product youre pushing. Your silence on the issue is also inexcusable. You have to fix this, forget about all the cosmetic stuff, this is fundamental to the entire experience. Fix this. Please. Pretty please. Fix the broken followers thing. It’s several months now. Come on. You can do it!

@Oliver0023 you’re the only person I know who knows anyone at PGG. please stress to them, this is incredibly bad for the game. I have not seen a bug this bad in 2 years, and it’s being totally ignored.

Another update and still broken. I’m pretty sure this broke with the Dec.14 hotfix. If not then, it was the Motorsport update Jan.16. Anyways, another disappointing month ahead for any/all creators…

take a break and touch the grass, because there is no point in sharing anything (liveries, vinyls, tunes, maps) until this is fixed

Yaaaarg I was just gittin’ gud at some paints and designs. I’ve been waiting and waiting for a couple followers but nothing… this explains it all.
Yeah, I reactivated my ticket three weeks ago and it stayed open for 8 days before being closed as “resolved”. I asked them to add it to the “Known Issues” page, but that has not happened yet. I’m convinced this bug was caused by a motorsport update as the closing of my latest ticket coincided with the last MS update and, I assume, they knew a fix was not making it into that patch (Apr.08) and they weren’t leaving the ticket open for another 4 weeks (or longer). Didn’t MS say they were going to take longer on the next patch (“Mid-May”)? It’s too bad this issue isn’t getting more attention (from them or from us).
Well, definitely not the “news” I was hoping to hear. It’s pretty discouraging for the effort we all put in to miss the opportunity for additional followers & really not sure why it seems to be low priority given the focus of importance placed on creator content. I guess as content creators we are already pre-biased as it relates to importance, but I guess for players who don’t, it’s a bit of a non-issue.
