I have connection to server but when ever I beat a rival (says I beat them) it doesn’t save my time to board so it gives me the rival I just beat.
I can load any leaderboard, use the auction house and search for specific car auctions, check club leaderboard… but it won’t post the time I just beat the rival with so it’s like Groundhog Day over and over.
(I’ve restarted nothing has been helping last hour powered it down and unplugged brick, see what tomorrow brings I guess- just wondered if it’s happening to anyone else as this was weird as all other forza server items seem to be working just fine)
yeah mine is messed up too. I’ve tried resetting the console choosing a different rival and track but it wont keep my time. It just started doing it about an hour ago I’ve been playing rivals all day without problems til now.
The leaderboards were unavailable to me less than an hour ago. Then I read on VG247 that there are some DDoS attacks underway since yesterday. Last night, I couldn’t access paint jobs. Apparently, the Sony folks have it worse. At least XBL has stayed up through the attacks.
This is the case. Massive DDoS against a big-time commercial ISP, whose clients include Twitter, NetFlix, PayPal, and more. Don’t know if this is actually what’s causing problems with rivals, but it’s definately a thing that could.
I’m having the same issue. Just spent the past two hours sorting out a tune and no matter how many times I beat a rival tonight it’s not saving the time or advancing me up the leaderboard. This is the first time I’ve ran into this issue since the game released.

Same here… Been battling a friend over rivals, then finally beat his time by a huge margin with a new tune and a perfect run, buuuuut → didn’t register. As of now, it’s still not working
Why would DDoS attack only effect posting new times to LB? I’d get not having any contact with server at all but it seemed like to me (didn’t go online adventure) that all other aspects of online worked. I was able to load rival leaderboards
Dunno but not sure how you would be able to read leaderboard and not write to it.
Feel free to add me as friend to anyone in this thread. I’m just getting going. I’m not super fast guy well not an alien at least (top 50-300 in FM), but I’m fast at times. it’s always nice to get an rival that you can do back and forth battle up the boards.
Hopefully it works soon I guess I can work on completing the championship achievement but really was looking forward running rivals.
It’s literally the only reason I play this game.
