Anyone else disappointed with Featured Multiplayer?

It’s so limited. Why have 500 cars in the game when you cannot race ~96% of them online? As of right now, there are only three what I like to call “permanent” series (Qualifier Series, Forza Touring Car Series, and Forza GT Series) with a grand total of 29 cars to choose from.

Another thing I do not like are the weekly series. What is the point of these? They’re only available for one week and then they’re replaced with something else. On top of that, there is no incentive to own any of the cars featured in the weekly events.

So yeah, I’m very disappointed with Forza. Can’t believe we all waited over 6 years for this.

And they definitely need to stop with rooms with the same class. S class open and 60s formula is S class. We need more variety! Hurry up with the spotlight series!!!

It’s shockingly poor variety as of right now. I cannot understand how they thought this would suffice…

That implies that someone actually thought about this

Most of what’s in the game doesn’t seem like it was thought out.

All I want is a ranking system that actually works and then is applied to a multiplayer cup event that lasts a few weeks with an ultimate ranking at the end of the cup for everyone who participated.

GT7 nations cup style or anything of that nature. Current MP might as well be unranked quick play. Rankings don’t do anything and races don’t mean anything or count towards anything outside of a handful of achievements.

Multiplayer has no greater goal or direction. I can only do so many 5 lap races on randomly chosen circuits before I lose interest.

Forza Horizon 4 came up with quite a good idea, ranked racing with leaderboards. This was dropped for FH5 because apparently the devs thought it was too hardcore and would upset the casuals - which never made much sense because FH4 also had a quick play multiplayer mode for casuals which wasn’t ranked. FH5 forced the casual and more serious players to play in the same lobbies, satisfying neither. Also, FH4’s ranked mode showed your skill rating on the scoreboards so everyone knew who they were up against. At least you could have bragging rights during the race if that mattered to you. FM 2023 doesn’t even have that.

Forza Horizon 4 also kept track of your race wins and losses. FH5 didn’t and nor does FM 2023. So other than the pleasure (?) of taking part in races, there is literally no reason to play it. It could not be more barebones.

btw I’ve been playing FH4 online lately - the racing is often very good and the ghosting system works very well at eliminating most accidental or malicious collisions. Why doesn’t FM 2023 do this?

i wish they’d get over their egos and look at the most popular racing games for multiplayer ideas like radar , weather systems, tournaments, and different hot lap ideas kinda like gt7. They’ll never look at a game like that for ideas bc they think they have the best racing game on the map when really all they have is graphics and bottom tier gameplay

Sad to say, Forza Horizon 5 will always get more attention from the amount of people that still play it and motorsport will die underneath it

I hope, this is only temporarily. I enjoy featured most of all. I play open series too, but if i need to compare, open is much more dirtier, more rammers and horizon gamers…

Good ideas guys. I stopped playing allready. The multiplayer is lackluster. No reason to play at all. No idea why is not there pernament event for each class. I miss my Diablo from previous week, when will they add it again?

I would like to have some league play or proper ranking system. I want to play with ppl of my level not some cheaters with 5s better lap times.
