Any workarounds for the mirror problem?

It would be kinda cool if the developers could just put a mirror in the middle of the screens where a person needs it instead of out of view.

May I recommend voting for this topic:

Virtual Rearview mirror for all views

The only reason i do not play with the beautiful cockpit view is the (mostly) out of sight rearview mirror. A virtual rearview mirror like in hood view as option for every view would be great! Adjustable FOV would be great too.
