So twice now I have leveled up but not had enough cash to buy the really cool (discounted) car, even with the discount maxed (I’m over to tier level 10). So I’ve had to take the 50,000 credit pay out (could care less about the driver suits). This is a real bummer, as both times the cars offered were definitely ones I wanted to buy. With 724 cars in the game so far it will be pretty unlikely it will show up again when I level up. So I will be forced to pay the full price instead of the 400,000 credit discount.
I’ve only bought one car in the game, every other car has been an award card that I’m using. I have been racing career only and buying the 50,000 credit mod packs. By my math that I’ve kept track of: on average, they generate about 75 to 80 thousand credits per pack of 5 cards. So it’s a net gain by buying those modpacks, that seems to be a smart choice.
I was wondering if there is any way to generate credits by racing, but not get much XP. That way your level doesn’t increase too fast in case you need to get enough money for the next upcoming level up car bonus purchase. I know about the Forza Edition cars (VIP and T10 gifts). I use them as much as possible and every race when I can.
I’m not interested in any glitches. But I don’t mind farming for credits if there’s a functional way to do that without leveling up. Thank you for any input or ideas.
I just realized this was a thing the other day, i had just been taking the cash until i accidentally hit the b button lol. They should of had a prompt that popped up to let us know about this feature.
If you race long races you will have enough credits at the level up screen to get most cars that you come across. They look like they are also curated to you based upon your car collection level. Also don’t forget about Forza Rewards and using mod cards. I did a “Super Long” race at VIR and got almost 300k credits, and this is without using the VIP level mods, just some random ones I had.
Also i did a 4 hour race at Dubai with the Forza Edition Nsx with 3 of the vip cards active and only got around 1.3 million credits. Not worth it lol. It was all gone after leveling up 3 to 4 times…
Only a minority of cars show up as a levelup reward and they are repeating until you bought all of them from a set. I think there’s around 100 you can get that way. After you own them the reward will change to cheaper cars (basically free with the collector discount). After those are bought you will get the most expensive ones again, even though you own them. But you can’t really miss any of them if you take the credits.
Payout depends solely on distance. Dubai is a relatively slow track, so it pays less than i.e. a four hour race on an oval.
It’s worth going over level 100, like with the cars you can get from leveling up.
They do get stale to a point because the game is trying to force you to get them but once you buy enough of that group of cars it will change them up again.
Because personally I’m around level 700 and I got stuck for like 50 levels on a handful of cars because you know, I didn’t want to spend 1m-ish every time I leveled up.
But I finally got past that point and now it’s normal street cars for free everytime I level up.
Did you have to buy all the million dollar cars with the 400k discount before you got back to normal free street cars, or did you just keep taking the 50k and at some level it went back to normal sub 400k cars ?
Look up for “Forza 7 airfield ram glitch”. basically this provides you about 7500xp every 10 seconds, after 30 sec. you level up for additional 20.000cr and the car or the 50.000cr.
After people hit a high level they move to the daytona glitch. This is where the real madness starts: after about 3 minutes “working time” you get all your level up bonuses according to your level AGAIN. So if you are level 100 and always choose the 50.000cr payout you get 5 Mio. Cr. about every 5 minutes.
Hope it will patched soon, as this exhales all the joy of playing (my friends are already bored with the game), because you realize the game is very shallow and builds up all the excitement just with car collection (Forza Pokesports 7). Additionally this will break the auction house, when people already own every car you can buy ingame and sitting on hundreds of millions they will troll the honest players in bidding.
I’m having such an enjoyable time playing this game, I would never ruin that. For me it is the best Forza of any of them, and I have played every single one. I plan to take my time and enjoy this game and attempt to collect all of the 700+ cars. I hope to be playing this game in two years when Forza 8 is being released.
It does not surprise me that people are glitching it and ruining it for themselves. It gave me a good chuckle to know that some idiots have already “broken” the game less than two weeks into its existence. I’m sure they do this in other facets of their life too, what a terrible way to live, act and exist.
These are probably the same people that spend most of their time complaining about how the game is no good and they didn’t like it. Oh and probably the same people that said they’re definitely going to request a refund.
The Airfield-RAM money making scheme is not a glitch or cheating. The others listed are. The Airfield-RAM scheme is simply taking advantage of the 7500XP bonus that the FE edition RAM truck gives on that track. It’s part of the game design.
Don’t know why people do this to their game, it defeats the purpose completly. Where is the fun of compleeing a game when you just give yourself millions of credits and xp right at the start.
Oh thats right… Distance = Payout. The faster ovals mean longer distance. But I haaaate ovals. I get put in a trance after about 5 laps. I barely made it through the Spa and Le Mans Enduros. I love Sebring, but not looking forward to the 2+ hours there. The 8 laps at The Ring should not be so bad.
The level up system mainly provides the level 3 and 4 cars. I’m at collector tier 25 and have all but five of them that can be purchased. Occasionally a level 2 or a level 5 car will pop up. It will be interesting to see if more Legendaries start showing up after I get those last few.
I’ve never had a car I already owned show up.
If a Legendary pops that you really want then hit skip to save it. Otherwise just take the 50k if you can’t afford the car and apply it toward the next one. You’re going to be running out of money anyway and the cars will eventually show back up in the rotation again.
Because every game now is about grinding for virtual things, in this case cars. Sure, the fun with the game lasts longer if you dont cheat.
But while graphic Quality increases from year to year actual gameplaywise the improvement is quite unimpressive. Therefore i can understand people not wanting to play for collecting cars they wont drive for more than 10miles.
People demanded Racing Weekends or at least Qualifying.
People wanted Fujimi Kaido back.
