Lots of information here, but has anyone suggested removing profile that bought the game, doing a system/restart, then adding profile that bought the game back, to make sure it isn’t a owner profile issue?

I think he already did that, but if not he should give it a go.
I made a new microsoft acc and tried that but it didn’t work, haven’t tried the above suggestion.
Will give that a go today. Played a bit on one s, went over to the x and it synced the save perfect, however crashed on loading screen.
Will edit this post if any of the suggestions work/don’t work. Cheers everyone.
EDIT: Unfortunately removing the account and restarting/taking plug out, still crashed at boot. It synced the save file fine but, it crashed behind the sync screen and then back to dashboard shortly afterwards. I’m at a loss, I really don’t know what to do. The only thing I haven’t tried that some guy said worked for him is deleting local and CLOUD save. But screw that, I really don’t want to loose my progress.
When will playground fix this issue?
The problem can’t be your cloud save when the game also won’t start with a different account.
Have you tried it with video output set to 1080p?
Update: Tried installing from the Microsoft Store App on the One X. Went to the ultimate edition in store, and clicked install. It’s doing some new behaviour I thought was interesting.
First of all, under manage game when it was freshly uninstalled, it showed a new game size of 63.9 gb?
Second, I noticed in the store for FH4 under ‘all add-ons’ car pass, which was never under manage game in FH4 for me.
Thirdly, after click install on the ultimate edition store page. My queue is now 18 Items! I’m not sure if this is normal but it is downloading each car pass car individually? Attached is a photo. Very strange.

What do you mean by external or internal save? Like internal on the device and external on the cloud? If so my save on one s and one x are local, and on the cloud. As the one x does manage to sync the save file but crashes shortly afterwards.
EDIT: Another reinstall, same thing. Crashing to black screen now at moving senna press a screen.
Also guys, it can’t be the xbox, if it was do you think it could play EVERY other game on in it perfectly fine? It’s something wrong with the game.
Gonna install the demo today and see if that boots.

I’m wondering if the game that is downloaded for the one s has the 4k assests?
If so, is it possible to move the an external drive and try on the one X? Conversely, you could move the game for the one X to an external and try on the one s(it’ll work). If the game that won’t run, runs on the s, I’d say your x has an issue of some kind
I don’t think so the one s is 56gb or so. The only external I have is full of stuff so need to buy a new one to try that.
Will also try 1080p output instead but I don’t think that’s the issue.
The demo version first said it was corrupted and reinstall error message. I reset the console, tried again and it booted up to the display options and hdr calibration screen, pressed a, then got frozen on the loading screen with the controller on it. Once again, every other game works fine on my xb1x.
Did a soft-reset today but kept games & apps. Game froze while the sync screen was up. It sync’d 100 percent but the actual game froze behind the sync screen like usual and when the sync was finished crashed to dashboard. Any ideas ANYONE?? Same issue, haven’t been able to launch since the 16th.

Re-downloaded the demo today. It worked, played 30 minutes of it in quality mode. Full game still doing the same crash to dashboard.
EDIT: [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D], after playing the demo, i tried getting in to the normal game again, and it loaded up quick as hell perfect! THE FIX IS DOWNLOADING THE DEMO, PLAYING IT, THEN TRYING TO OPEN THE FULL GAME.
Another update: It seems after playing the demo, and have the full game now launch after doing that., I noticed the main game size went from 61.17gb to 63.9gb under ‘manage game’ I think there is something weird happening with having played the demo on a different console before launch, playing ultimate edition on the other console, and then switching to the one x it must of freaked out because the demo hadn’t been played on it? Very, very strange. And that probably doesn’t make any sense but yeah, basically if anyone else has this issue try and run the demo.
EDIT: NEVER MIND, DOING THE SAME THING AGAIN, NOT A FIX. Game also says 61.17gb under manage game again. (Said 63.9 when it worked) And the demo is saying it’s corrupted again and reinstall, even though I played the demo and full game for hours the other day.
Any progress in this matter?

Now I’v noticed that 2 more games started to “lock up” and shut of (gta5 and COD 4 remasted)
After contact with Xbox support they recommended that I send my console in for a check up… Probebly harddrive failure! Hope thats the problem😇
Yup, my netflix app started acting SUPER slow a few days ago, like could hardly move around the tiles, or exit the app. All my other games still worked fine but I decided after that to go back to ebgames and get it replaced with one of the white special edition consoles. Game now works flawlessly and I’ve noticed the entire console is noticeably faster around the menus/apps as well. FH4 must be demanding enough when your console is failing/lemon it just won’t launch? If anything I guess it’s an early warning sign haha. Still weird how the old console played a game like Red Dead 2, arguably one of the most demanding games on the system perfectly however.
Just got my xbox one X back from service… And Horizon 3 still crashes on start up… Cant turn 10 and playground games fix this problem?
Still works fine on both of my Xbox one S.
Update: Spoken with MS support and my one X is geeting replaced completly now.
MS has replaced many One X becuse horizon 3 and 4 problems…
