After installing tonight’s update, all of my Car Masteries seem to have been reset - I had maxed out 199 cars, so that is a LOT of skill points. Praying this can be fixed at the server end!

Yeah noticed it too,I had also a lot of cars maxed out.
Is this why the servers are currently down?
My Car Masteries are gone as well; Extra Life gone on all my cars… Just when I started having hope that this game was going to get better.
Yep… I was just forced to upgrade on. Xbox one and all car mastery perk points are now gone from my vehicles.
And it happened to me as well.
I stupidly spent 90 points re-maxing out a car that was previously maxed out. THe game allowed me to repurchase the perks. When I restarted the game, all the newly purchased perks were gone as well.

You are correct. I am always glad to help others in this game. In reality for me, I already own everything I really want in this game and have more credits than I’ll ever be able to use. I don’t have an abundance of skill points banked, but there really isn’t much need for the bonuses any more.

Same here. Was racking up skills points in my M6 FE with maxed out mastery perks and was wondering why it was slower than usual to rack up skills. Looked at my car mastery perks, they were all gone! Hasn’t happened to my GTR LM FE which is maxed.
Thinking about it, I bought my M6 FE from the auction house whereas I got my gtr from the r390 skill perk, maybe this issue is to do with cars bought from the auction house? I also bought an Aventador SV from the auction house recently and I’ve lost the perks that were bought by the previous owner.
Hope this can be fixed, there’s no way I’m starting all over again with the perks
Edit- actually I don’t think it’s limited to cars bought on the auction house, I have lost perks from cars I got from the playlist such as the 599XXE/ Gurkha and the business stories (Austin taxi), very annoying!
They just need to pumped up the daily forzathon skill streak to 10 million, that’ll get everyone to get perk points again😁

Why does this not surprise me?! It’s not like you can restore a backup of your cloud save. Interestingly, back in the day they would ban people for backing up and restoring their FH1 save files.

I’m in the same boat, all my car masteries have been lost! I dont remember how many I had but it was a bunch! Please fix!
I thought this was a glitch because I launched FH4 on my new Xbox One, having previously played only on PC, but no. Mine are gone selectively, I checked out about 10 cars, only 2 had maxed out, those with a couple of points are gone. If they don’t fix this fast, it’s a nail in the coffin for this game. I can’t stand grinding something stupid like skill points.

I am guessing it’s hit a lot if not all I just hope they are fixed or I’m done. This is a bunch of time to skill out 600 cars… to see there’s maybe 2 out of 20 that I checked…
Not all of my masteries are gone, but most are.
The car I was in before the update retained it’s masteries and for some reason, the Ferrari 250 gto.
All my other cars are reset.
Yeah, I had about 60% of the cars are maxed out. This is absolutely lovely. Don’t they run tests before they release updates? Next thing is everyone is going to lose all their cash. I have 5 cars left to get in the game.
I doubt they have a backup

The rewards not being received on FH4 & FM7 and now losing all my perks for over 500 cars, I quit, that was the icing on the cake, the bad thing about it is I’m going to miss the games, they were fun, but if you work hard for 6-7 months building your perks and then they just disappear, that is one big waste of my time that I will never let happen again, you lost my trust forever, it started with FH3, but I got over the problems, you would think you knew what you were doing by now, I’m pretty sure this post will get deleted and I will get banned, but, I DON’T CARE!

If you find the game is fun,then KEEP PLAYING! What difference do the perks make if you’ve got all the cars and money you need anyway. Does it really matter if that skill streak is only multiplying by 5 instead of 7. Yes it’s annoying, yes the developers have dropped the ball big time. But does it really make the game any less playable.
If the answer is still yes then I really have to ask why you play.
